Chapter 6
Lone Wolf
Gaven stared at the space where the tall figure disappeared with Hallie. Tasting something salty on his tongue he dabbed his eyes with his pointer finger and stared at the wetness of his finger. He hadn't cried since-NO he forced himself not to think of the accident.
He had to save Hallie! Suddenly he saw a shadow of a large man coming his way and he jumped behind a trash can "He's not here sir." The large man said with a rough voice to no one. A voice rang aloud
"But he is here I can hear not one heartbeat but two." As if on cue the voice had a body as the tall thin man he saw that had Hallie stepped out of the shadow with nothing in his hands but blood.
Gaven shivered with fear and the strange shadow man looked immediately at the can he was hiding behind. The man raised his hand and the trash can went flying behind Gaven. He looked behind him in alarm then slowly turned his head to look at the large chubby man and the shadow creature.
They walked over to him with arrogance and they each gave him toothy grins. The shadow placed his hand over Gavens eyes and they didn't open.
Note-This happens after the next chapter I know it may be confusing but don't worry some questions will be answered next chapter.
