[two weeks later]

Agatha was dreading her bachelorette party. Sophie was the maid of honor. That enough was a reason to be worried. The second reason was that it was a surprise. Agatha hated surprises. The final reason was that she had to be up early for it. There was nothing Agatha hated more than waking up in the early morning. She got out of bed careful not to wake Tedros up. He had gotten home late from a concert in Manchester. Agatha snuck out of her and Tedros' bedroom and into the guest bedroom. She had stashed some clothes into that closet so she wouldn't make a ruckus and wake him up, afterall, he didn't wake her up when he would go workout at 5am for no reason like a lunatic.  Agatha ran her fingers across the hangers. She couldn't decide what to wear, she didn't know where they were going or how long they were going to be out. Agatha decided to play it safe with a slip dress. It was a light cornflower blue with small darker blue flowers scattered on it. She snuck back into her room to grab some heels. Agatha sat on the little grey bench that they had in their closet. She laced up her heels and grabbed a dark blue leather purse. It was a little chilly so Agatha grabbed a sheer medium blue shawl off one of the hangers and wrapped it around her elbows. She quietly made her way out the door,
"Where ya going?"
Agatha turned around and was faced with her fiance smirking at her from their bed.
"Sophie's picking me up"
"And why are you sneaking?"
"Because I didn't want to wake you"
Tedros chuckled lightly before getting out of bed. He walked over to Agatha who was leaning against the door frame. He placed a kiss on her forehead before walking passed her. Agatha watched as her fiance walked down the stairs,
"I hate to see you go but I love to watch you leave"
Tedros laughed, "Don't forget your overnight bag, good luck!"
"I love you"
"I love you too"
Agatha grabbed a small black bag from next to the door. She grabbed it before heading downstairs and out the door. Sophie was already waiting for her when she stepped through the door. Agatha's jaw dropped as she was met with a limo filled with her screaming friends. Agatha recoiled, "it's to early for this bullshit"
"Leave that ugly mess there I already know it will not do!"
"Then what am I supposed to wear"
Sophie held up a bright bubblegum pink duffle bag
"It's all in here"
Agatha groaned and dropped her clothes bag next to the front door. She walked towards the car and got into the back with her friends. There were only 7 of them, and it was only 10 am but Agatha already knew she wasn't going to be able to handle it.
"First stop, airport!"
"What?" nobody answered her question, instead a glass of champagne was shoved in her hand.
The girls arrived at the airport except it didn't seem like a normal airport, there were no other cars around.
"Where are we?"
"Private airport, someone's husband to be happens to be a famous singer who just happens to own a private jet to make travelling from venue to venue easier"
Sophie waved a pair of keys in front of the group,
"You exploited Tedros?"
"No! I simply called in an IOU"
"Uh huh"
"Anyways let's go"
Sophie led the gaggle of girls up the jet stairs. Dot and Kiko immediately headed to the kitchen/bar. Hester and Anadil's arms were linked as they quietly discussed something. Agatha was too distracted by Nicola and Sophie's conversation about some tv show they were watching to try and figure out what they were whispering about. Agatha slipped out of the girls grasp and sat down at the bar with Kiko and Dot.
"So what'll it'll be" Dot said with a very bad brooklyn accent
Agatha chuckled, "just a water"
"Everybody better have at least two drinks in them before we land, I cannot deal with any of you bitches sober!"
Agatha grabbed the mimosa that was served to her and took a seat in one of the jet chairs, She took a sip before buckling her seat. Sophie took a seat next to her, Hester and Anadil took the seats facing them. Dot, Kiko, and Nicola sat across the aisle from them. Agatha enjoyed her drink as they made their way to Paris, aka Sophie's happy place. After about an hour and a half-ish the plane landed. Sophie was leading the way again. The girls followed her down a red carpet strategically rolled out for none other than Sophie. Agatha tried her best not to roll her eyes, Sophie did have a taste for the extravagant. Before stepping into the black car that was waiting for them, Agatha was handed a "Bride to Be Sash" fortunately the satin was white and the lettering was a nice pale-ish silver. She slid the sash over her head. Hester stepped up behind her and placed a small tiara in her hair, "The witch's orders"
~
After Agatha had left, Tedros had done his daily workout and ate breakfast alone scrolling through his phone. Luckily for him, his best man was simple. They were going to a dinner and a bar later and that was it. Chaddick had promised that they wouldn't do anything too wild, but with his track history, he wouldn't be too surprised if something dumb happened. He spent his morning adding the finishing touches to his album. He was planning to announce the album the week before the wedding. Tedros had enjoyed a nice and quiet afternoon. He managed to finish everything he needed to do and took a nice nap. Tedros was watching something on the tv when there was a knock on his front door.
"Open up bitch"
"Fuck...."
Tedros groaned and got up from the couch. He opened the door and in came Chaddick and Tristan. Tristan looked bored and Chaddick seemed overly excited.
"It's barely 2pm, what you doing here"
"Bored and couldn't wait" Chaddick's voice came from the kitchen. Of course he was already raiding their fridge. Tristan was simply sitting on one of the loveseats using his phone.
"We're friends, can't we just come over because we want to"
"Nope. What do you want"
"Fineeeee, I need to meet with my coach before going to dinner. But I've been late a couple of times and since I don't want to get punished, I figured I'd bring the famous Tedros Pendragon, his daughter's favorite singer, along with me to get some leverage ."
Tedros gave Chaddick a deadpan look before punching him in the arm.
"I deserve that. But will you come?"
"Fine but only because you're paying for our drinks later tonight"
"Thanks bro"
"Who's your coach anyways?"
Chaddick seemingly ignored the question by shoving the sloppily made sandwich into his mouth. Tedros walked up the stairs to change into something...more appropriate. He did have a reputation for being a pretty well dressed dude after all. He wore a pale beige loose button up tucked into a pair of medium brown pants paired with some white sneakers.
"Ok let's go"
Tedros was about to walk through the door when he noticed Chaddick and Tristan weren't following him.
"What now?"
"Let's take your car, mine is having some issues"
Tedros rolled his eyes, "sureee"
Chaddick grinned widely as they headed to the garage. Chaddick chose one of the sports cars that Tedros hardly ever used. It was matte black with gold lining around the seams. It was really extra, that was why he never drove it. There was really no occasion that suited the vehicle. He bought it on a whim while drunk with Chaddick, as you may have guessed. Tedros grabbed the corresponding keys off the key holder. Chaddick called shotgun while Tristan got stuck in the backseat. Tedros followed the directions that Chaddick gave him. How far was this coach of his. After driving for around 30 minutes Tedros found himself cruising through very familiar streets. They were Camelot. What in the hell were they doing in Camelot? They passed by their old high school, by Guinevere's home, by the boys' old hangout spot. Tedros didn't question it. None of them seemed bothered by it, so why should he? Tristan was still on his phone and Chaddick was munching on a bag of chips that he had stolen from Tedros' house. They turned another corner when Tedros saw the giant stadium looming over them.
"Turn in here"
"Are you serious?"
Chaddick smiled smugly. They pulled into the player's parking lot and Chaddick flashed the security guard his ID. The boys were buzzed in.
"You're playing for the Camelot Lions?"
Chaddick simply nodded. Not saying anything. Tedros and Tristan trailed behind the brunette boy as he led them through the building. They walked into the empty locker room and Tedros was in awe. He had been watching the Lions ever since he was a little boy. They were his father's favorite team so inherently they became his too. They weren't the best football team but they were definitely up there. He watched his first live football game from those stands. He dreamed of becoming a famous athlete and playing with the team out on that very field but seeing it firsthand as a visitor was just as impactful. They followed Chaddick through the rows of lockers until reaching a door with the words "head coach" on a plaque. The door swung wide open before Chaddick had the time to knock.
"Dicky, my boy!"
For the first time in the afternoon Tristan looked up from his phone, "dicky?" He scoffed
Chaddick shot a glare at him before turning back to the older man.
"How you doing Rick? This is my friend Tedros that I told you about"
"Ah the one who's getting married?"
"Yeah that's him"
The older man pulled him into a hug,
"Well congratulations to you! My daughters' are huge fans. Do you mind signing a few things?"
"It's no problem, I love my fans" Tedros smiled as the man returned to his office and brought out a box of stuff.
"I'm sorry if it's a lot, they are really big fans" Tedros chuckled trying to hold back a slight look of terror. It was A LOT of stuff. He began to sign the different relics and albums and pictures that were in the box. Chaddick and Rick excused themselves and went into his office. They were surely talking about the reason why Chaddick was there in the first place. What it was? Tedros was unsure about that answer. After about 10 minutes Tedros was done autographing everything and the guys were done with their chat. Rick thanked Tedros and sent them on their way. Tristan and Tedros both headed for the way they came in but Chaddick dragged them another way.
"It's a shortcut" was all he said. The boys found themselves underground. Tedros could see light and a patch of green as they neared the end of the tunnel. They were going onto the field. Tedros felt like he was going to start hyperventilating. He was about to cross one of his biggest dreams off his bucket list. The first step onto the grass was magical. Well not really but it felt that way to him. He finally looked up from the green when he noticed who was in front of him. The majority of the Camelot Lions were right there. Tedros was really going to freak out now.
"You're welcome" Chaddick whispered into his ear as the players walked closer to them.
"You planned this?"
"No I did" Tristan had put his phone away. He shoved his hands into his pockets before walking closer to them.
"I just wouldn't have been able to keep it a secret so I forced myself to be on my phone."
"I'm shocked, I can't believe you guys did this"
"It was surprisingly easy. They're all big fans of your music"
"They like my music? This is the best day of my life"
"Aren't you getting married in a few weeks?"
"This is the best non Agatha related day of my life."
Chaddick chuckled, "much better"
Tedros greeted each of the players. They all talked for a while. Tedros was still in disbelief. He couldn't fathom the idea that the people who he looked up to most of his life were his fans. They spent a little more than 2 hours at the stadium. Tedros went home with a handful of signed jerseys, a football signed by the entire team, and skybox tickets to the next game. It was safe to say that this was a great start for his bachelor party.
~
Agatha smiled at the pictures that Chaddick had sent her. They were of Tedros smiling like a little kid, surrounded by his favorite players.
"Put that phone away! We have shopping to do!" Agatha resisted the 500th eye roll of the day. Sophie was as relentless as ever. They had just finished having breakfast when Sophie had informed them of her plans. After breakfast at a small bakery near the Eiffel Tower, the girls were going to go shopping. Agatha, of course, knew most of the designers behind the stores. That's most likely why Sophie brought them here. She hoped to get a discount. Agatha shoved her phone into her purse and followed the blonde. According to Sophie, the plan was to shop for a bit and enjoy Paris before heading to another location. Agatha had a few drinks in her so she wasn't too against the idea. However she wasn't too pleased that she was going to have to spend more time sitting in a chair. No matter how comfortable they were, she was getting tired of sitting. Anadil, Dot, and Hester were all walking together discussing something. Agatha vaguely picked up on parts of their conversations. Hester and Anadil resided in San Francisco while Dot stayed in France to open a patisserie. They hadn't had much in person contact so Agatha naturally assumed they were catching up. Nicola and Sophie we're pulling one another from side to side, but the pair never let go of each other. Agatha found it sort of funny. Nicola had despised Sophie and everything her clique stood for and now they were fighting like an old married couple. Kiko had linked her arm around hers. They were peacefully strolling down the streets. Kiko was talking to her about her wedding and what she had learned from the experience. Kiko was the first to get married from the group. Then it was Hester and Anadil. Nicola had sadly called off her engagement with Hort. He didn't do anything wrong but she just never felt like his first choice. That's actually how Sophie and she had grown close. Both laughing over Hort and their lack of heartbrokenness. It was interesting to see how the group ended up. Sophie, who Agatha thought would marry first ended up being the one who stayed single the longest. Her excuse was always the same, "can't commit if it isn't the right one"
Agatha laughed every time she said it. Who was the right one? How would she know if she never stayed with a person for longer than a week. The evening passed by relatively quickly. All the girls left the shops with a few bags in hand. Some...Sophie...more than others. Agatha had picked up this beautiful lightly gold tinted jeweled wrap-like dress. The sleeve for the left arm was a spaghetti strap contrary to the sleeve on the right arm which was a full length bell-like sleeve. The dress had a slit up the thigh. Agatha fell in love with it from the moment she saw it. It was beautiful. Agatha had to admit, she was partial to her own brand but this dress was just stunning, she had to get it. Sophie basically bought anything and everything pink. She denied it but Agatha was pretty sure she was trying to become a barbie. Sophie had bought so much stuff that Nicola had to help Sophie carry all the bags. The rest of the girls were pretty sufficient in their shopping. They didn't buy anything excessive. Agatha didn't realize the already crammed car could become any more crowded, but it did. Luckily the trip to the airport was short.
"Ladies! We are going to dinner which means I want all of you glammed up. Wear something new or wear what I brought you"
"What you brought us?" Hester and Anadil asked in sync.
"Yeah, you all gave me spares to your homes, that sounds like a you problem"
"You snuck into our houses?" Asked Dot pausing before taking a bite from her slice of cheesecake
"It's not a big deal, I just felt like you wouldn't have suitable outfits"
"I'm going to pummel her," muttered Nicola through clenched teeth. Agatha simply laughed.
"Agatha go change, as the bride to be you deserve to go first"
Agatha grumbled, she didn't get to finish enjoying her slice of chocolate cake. She went into the decently sized lounge in the back of the jet and changed into her new dress. Unfortunately the shoes she had brought for her original dress didn't match the dress she was wearing.
"Sophie!"
"Yeah"
"Do you have any extra shoes"
"Of course, what kind of uncivilized animal do you think I am?"
Agatha rolled her eyes, but she was extremely grateful that her friend was extra. In times like these, it came in handy. Sophie strut past the closed curtain with a pair of shiny gold pointed pumps.
"Here"
She also handed Agatha a pair of dangly gold earrings and a diamond, tiara shaped hair comb. Sophie left the lounge and Agatha finished accessorizing. She tied her loose straight hair into a braided crown and low bun. She stabbed the comb through her bun and fastened the earrings. She tightened the straps of the heels. She checked herself out in the reflection of one of the windows. She looked smoking hot. Agatha felt a surge of newfound confidence. She stepped out of the lounge and into the seating area where the girls were. She was showered with compliments, it felt nice to hang out with her friends again. She definitely missed this energy.
~
Tedros definitely did not miss this. Chaddick was already getting drunk and the others hadn't even arrived. They had finished dinner about an hour ago and were now at the bar waiting for his other friends to arrive. Tedros hadn't stayed in touch with many of his old high school buddies. He just didn't have much in common with them anymore. Nicholas was the first of the select few to arrive. Tarquin entered a few minutes after the other boy. There weren't too many of them. Only a handful of guys showed up after Nicholas and Tarquin. It didn't take long for the drinks to start rolling around.
"Everyone! Grab a shot! We are getting this party started!"
The guys erupted in cheers and hollers. Tedros downed the liquor and so did the others.
"Can I have 10 shots of tequila?" Chaddick turned to ask the bartender.
"Why 10? There's only 7 of us" Tristan asked, getting up from the bar stool he was sitting at to grab a handful of fries off the table.
"Those are not for us, they're for Tedros"
"Me?"
"Yep, one for every year you were apart from Agatha"
"That's not fair, i'm going to get shitfaced before you guys even get tipsy"
"We'll joining you for the last few don't worry"
Tedros was worried. He was a very complacent drunk. He was also an emotional drunk. This would not bode well for him in the long run. The line of shots were brought out in front of him. He gulped, preparing mentally for the outcome. Nicholas set a plate of limes and salt in front of him to help down the alcohol.
"Ready....set....go!"
Tedros downed the first shot. He was still going strong. The first 4 went down fairly easy, but by the 5th his stomach was beginning to burn. But he kept going. Down went shots 6, 7, and 8. By shot 9 he could feel himself becoming slightly disgusted by the taste of the burning liquid. Shot 10 felt like a relief. He slammed the small glass on the wooden surface of the bar table and took a huge bite into the tangy lemon. The mix of tangy citrus and the salt made his stomach feel slightly acidic but it was over. The boys cheered for him. Tedros took a break from the shots to let the others catch up. The slamming of glasses overtook the noise of the music that was roaring on the loudspeakers. After about 10 minutes he was feeling the alcohol. He was becoming slightly lightheaded and definitely more giggly. He joined the boys in another round of shots. At this point Tedros had lost count. He was shoving fried food in his face acting as if it was air and he needed it to survive. Time seemed to go too fast but at the same time it stood still. Basically Tedros didn't know what time it was or what he was doing there. He was in the middle of an argument with the guys about the first draft picks for the next season when he phone dinged. He was out of sorts so he couldn't locate it immediately but he eventually did find it. The notification came from his instagram. Agatha had just posted a new picture. Tedros thanked his lucky stars for touch id. He couldn't keep his hands steady enough to input his password. He opened the picture and began to cry. He was just overtaken with emotion. She was so pretty and he loved her so much. He commented some gibberish that he would surely regret in the morning. Chaddick and Tristan both went on each side of him.
"Whas wrong" Chaddick asked through slurred words
"Agatha is soooooo pretty"
"I love her so much"
"She's the best thing thas happen to me"
"Look at her" Tedros shoved the phone in each of their faces
"She's a goddess"
"Soooooo pretty"
"I am so in love" Tedros rested his head on Chaddicks arm.
"Congratchulashions buddyyy"
"I love her so much that I'm not gonna wait any longer" Tedros was bobbing his head back and forth almost as if it was too heavy for his body
"Wait for what?"
"Im......going to...re..lease...my new album!"
"Yay" Chaddick was definitely a bit out of it
Tedros tapped around on his phone. He ended up posting all the songs on his new album. However, Tedros wasn't sober enough to care
"Agatha is going to love it" Chaddick slurred before downing the last of his drink
"Yeah, yeah let's get the two of you sobered up before Agatha kills me." Tristan wasn't a lightweight and he hadn't gone overboard so he was still decently sober. He gave both Chaddick and Tedros a glass of water and the greasiest food on the menu. After a while Tedros felt the alcohol in his system slightly settle down. He wasn't fully sober but he was slightly more conscious now.
"I have a great idea," Chaddick exclaimed. A slight slur still apparent in his speech.
"Let's go dig up the time capsule from freshman year!"
"Yessssss"
"That seems illegal" spoke Tristan, the only reasonable one.
"Come on, let's go to Tedros' mom's house to grab shovels." Tristan rolled his eyes but agreed. He grabbed his coat and followed the two tipsy idiots to the car that he had ordered. The car dropped them off at Guinever's place. Chaddick and Tedros ran up the stairs and knocked on the door. The lights in the house were still on. The door opened, "Tedros? What are you doing here?"
"Can we borrow some shovels?"
"Yeah...why do you need them?"
"We're gonna dig up our old time capsule" Chaddick gave Guinevere a tight hug before heading to the back door to grab some shovels from the backyard. Tedros complained about having to pee so he ran upstairs. Tristan was left alone to clean up their messes like usual.
"I'm sorry they had a few too many drinks and Chaddick got this idea."
Guinever simply laughed. She and Tristan discussing all the idiotic things Chaddick and Tedros had done while drunk. After a few minutes Tedros returned from the bathroom and Chaddick had collected the shovels. The boys said goodbye to Guinevere and stepped out into the driveway.
"None of us have a car" deadpanned Tristan
"Butttt I do have my motorcycle"
"That old pile of junk"
"For your information. It is not a pile of junk. It is a treasured relic from my father"
"You don't even know how to drive it"
"But you do" Tedros wiggled his brows at Tristan
"Im not getting out of this am I?"
"Nope."
Tedros opened the garage door and pulled out the no longer rusty vintage motorcycle.
"What the hell"
"Cool right, I fixed it up with the money I made from my first album."
The boys pilled onto the bike. Tristan in the front, driving, Tedros in the middle, and Chaddick in the back holding the shovels. The trip to the school didn't take that long. Tristan parked in the back next to the school fence. They tossed the shovels over the fence before hopping over it. Chaddick climbed it with ease. Tedros had some trouble but jumping the fence wasn't that hard. Unfortunately, Tristan was no longer as nimble as he was in high school. Tedros and Chaddick were already digging along the 50 yard where the capsule was buried and Tristan still hadn't even gotten over the fence. Tedros felt his shovel hit metal. Tristan finally got to them. He was a panting mess. Chaddick got down on his knees and pulled out the old metal lunch box. He swiped the dirt off the top revealing the degraded vintage superhero lunch box that they had used as the time capsule. Tristan and Tedros joined Chaddick on their knees.
"Ready?"
"Ready!" Tristan and Tedros spoke in unison
Chaddick flicked the cheap metal snap lock open. The inside was crowded with a bunch of random items. Chaddick was the first to pull out something.
"Cool! My old baseball cards"
"My turn" Tristan pulled out a stack of yellowed ticket stubs. Tedros pulled out the signed baseball from the Camelot Lions. They took turns pulling out things until it got to the last item. Tedros felt trepidation as he reached for it. His father's ring. He grabbed the aged piece of gold. He hadn't seen this ring in almost 15 years. It was the last thing his father gave him before he passed away. Tedros was sitting beside him as he lay on his deathbed. Tedros knew his dad could feel himself slipping away. Arthur weakly took hold of his son's small hand. He stretched Tedros' fingers and in the center of his palm he placed the golden band. Tedros refused to accept. The gift would mean his father was actually leaving. He tried to return it but his father simply closed his hand over Tedros' and the ring. His father closed his eyes, hand still holding Tedros'. He was gone. Tedros felt his eyes beginning to water as he relived the memory of his father's memory.
"We should get out of here, I don't want to get in trouble"
"Yeah"
~
The girls were casually chatting as they waited for their dinner to be brought out. The ringing of a cellphone interrupted their evening.
"Who's phone is that?"
Agatha checked her phone, "it's me, I need to take this, it might be urgrgent"
"No no no, this is your day, you're not working. Here give it to me I'll answer"
Agatha begrudgingl handed the phone to Sophie. That's when Kiko got a call as well. Sophie answered while Kiko excused herself from the table.
"Hello"
"This is she...yes, I accept the charges" Sophie was smiling widely when suddenly her face dropped, "Tedros you're where?...yes I can hear, I just don't understand"
Agatha signaled at Sophie to hand her the phone, if Tedros was calling from an unknown number then something was certainly wrong.
"We'll be there in maybe an hour...I don't care you should have thought about that before you got yourself thrown in jail"
"Jail?!" Agatha stood up out of impulse right as the waiter came over with the plates of food. She ended up knocking into him, which in turn caused the plate of spaghetti he was holding spill all over her dress.
"Mademoiselle Woods, I am so sorry"
Agatha smiled, "it's not your fault, do you mind getting me a wet rag please" The waiter scurried away as Agatha took her seat again.
"Oh god today is not my day"
Kiko returned to the table looking exhausted, "we've got to gooo-oh what the hell happened to you"
The girls couldn't contain their laughter anymore. Even Agatha was laughing. In a span of 5 minutes Agatha had managed to ruin her dinner, dress, and found out her boyfriend and his dumbass friends were in jail. Agatha wiped herself down a bit with the wet rag but the bright red spill still managed to stain her dress.
"Don't worry we can get you changed on the jet"
"Ok, lets go get your stupid boyfriends"
"Husband"
"Fiancé"
"Whatever" Hester rolled her eyes and led the pack of girls back to the car. They made it onto the jet, Agatha's concern and curiosity growing with every second that passed by. She sat with Sophie and Kiko so they could explain whatever the hell Tedros, Tristan and most likey Chaddick did to end up in jail.
"What did the idiots do?"
"They broke into the school"
"What school?"
"Camelot High duh" Sophie said as she examined her manicure
"What the hell are they doing in Camelot?"
"I don't know Tedros didn't say"
"Tristan told me that it was all part of Chaddick's plan"
Agatha groaned, "of course it was. I'm going to kill that man"
The girls laughed, when an automated voice filled the cabin of the plane,
"20 minutes till landing"
"Shit, I need to change. Sophie do you still have all the clothes you bought"
"Sorry no, I had it all dropped off in Paris since we're going to be there all next week for fashion week"
"What am I going to do now?"
"Doesn't Tedros have some stuff on the plane you could wear?"
"Kiko, I love you"
The three of them began snooping around seeing if they could find something Agatha could wear as clothes. They tried their best not to wake their sleeping friends, it was bad enough that they didn't get to eat.
"I found something!"
"Shhhhhh"
Kiko blushed, "sorry"
She walked over to Agatha holding Tedros' suit jacket from the door. The one with the tree that had intrigued Agatha from the show.
"If you tie it right you could wear it as a dress."
"That could work."
Agatha went into the back area and changed. The blazer, thank the heavens, fit almost perfectly. She buttoned it on the tightest setting to ensure nothing slipped out. The heels matched with the gold detailing on the jacket. Agatha wasn't one to be cocky but she looked amazing. The jacket hugged all the right places perfectly, she looked hot. The seatbelt icon began beeping, the plane was landing. Agatha hurriedly made her way to her seat and made sure she was buckled in.
"Damnnnnn that's my best friend"
~
Tedros felt like he had sobered up as soon as the handcuffs were placed on his wrist. This was gonna be a huge scandal. His manager was going to kill him, and if she didn't Agatha most definitely would. Tedros felt like he and the boys had been in the rusty jail cell for hours. He didn't blame Agatha and the girls for taking a long time. This was never supposed to happen. They weren't supposed to be in Camelot at all. The girls were probably somewhere in France, possibly Switzerland, or maybe Italy, Sophie had asked to borrow his jet because she wanted to take them "somewhere nice" whatever that meant. He originally said no but then she pulled the "i'm the reason you two got together" card. It wasn't all true, Tedros liked to believe that some of it was his doing but ultimately she was right. He hated that, but she was right. Tedros probably wouldn't have pursued Agatha if Sophie hadn't talked to him that night at the reunion. He would have probably gone the rest of his life just wondering what had happened to his first love. Thankfully, but unfortunately, he had a very nosey ex who just happened to be Agatha's mosey best friend. It was weird to reminisce about Agatha when they're getting married in a few short weeks but he found it helped distract himself from the curious eyes of the police officers and the others detained. Chaddick had resorted to talking off anyone who would listen's ear. Tristan was in the corner panicking quietly to himself. He was never one to properly deal with authority. Tedros stuck his hand in his pocket and found his father's ring. He hadn't seen it in years. Honestly, he never expected to be reunited with it. He thought he had lost it. He pulled it out and took a seat on one of the metal benches. He examined the ring closely. Remembering all the little details he had forgotten about. It was a signet ring, but the flat side had an almost 3 dimensional lion's head. His father's animal was a lion. He would always say that they were the symbol of courage. A representation of strength and bravery. There was a strip of sapphire gems embedded in the golden band. It was a beautiful ring. The ring was sacred to his family. It had been passed from generation to generation. Tedros always hoped he could give it to his children one day. Only if Agatha wanted children, he wasn't going to force her. He wouldn't repeat his father's mistake.
"Pendragon, Yara, and Gremaline! You're free to go!"
Tristan was the first one out. Chaddick looked almost sad to leave. It seems like maybe he managed to make a new friend. Tedros chuckled to himself. He stepped through the door and saw all of Agatha's friends standing in the center of the lobby. His fiancé had an eyebrow raised and was rapidly tapping her foot on the hard marble floor. He cringed under her gaze. The way she was staring at him was slightly unsettling. He had felt like years since he had seen her and he did not like the stare he held him under. However, she looked more beautiful than ever. Yes, Tedros said that every time he saw her but this time he meant it. It was most likely because she was wearing his blazer and it had been a long time since he had seen her in his clothes.
"Hey baby"
"Do not 'baby' me. I was worried sick! What the hell were you guys doing in Camelot anyways"
"I'm sorry but...it was all Chaddick!"
"Snitch."
Agatha arched a brow, "are you serious"
"No...but he did get me drunk and you know how I 'go with the flow' I am when I have alcohol in my system"
"So Chaddick was also the one that made you release the album a month early?"
Tedros blushes bright red, "you knew about that?"
"Tedros, honey, the love of my life...you are not good at surprises."
"Yes I am!"
"No you're not!" Agatha smiled softly before pressing her lips into his, "come on, let's go home"
"I would but I think I owe you guys dinner" Tedros eyed the group of women behind Agatha who were glaring daggers at him."
"You bet your ass you do pretty boy"
~
Neither the girls nor guys wanted to drive back to their places so late at night. They had compromised and decided that the girls who stay at Callis' house which happened to be empty because Callis was at a medical convention in San Diego until Monday. The guys would head over to Chaddick's place, considering he was the only one who actually had their own place in Camelot. They said their "somber" goodbye's outside the police station and headed their own ways. Agatha had already placed an order for takeout to be delivered to the house. Agatha used the spare key from under the potted plant. She let the girls in. Agatha was the last to step into the house. The girls were already haphazardly spread around the house.
"Let's go up to my room and change into something more comfortable"
"Please, I don't think I can last any longer in a dress" Hester spoke as she took Anadil's hand and got off the couch. Agatha slipped her heels off before slow jogging up the steps. She dropped them by the side of her bed before stepping into her closet. She handed Sophie the pj's she would wear when she slept over. She gave Hester a pair of black sweats and an old red t-shirt, very on brand. Anadil took a pair of green plaid pajama pants only, she was wearing a white undershirt and decided she would use it to sleep. She gave Nicola a matching set of purple sleep shorts and sleep shirt. Dot grabbed an oversized hoodie and pair of sweats. Kiko chose the neon green and yellow nightgown that she had gotten Agatha as a gag gift once. Agatha grabbed a pair of black bicycle shorts and an oversized tee. She wiped off her makeup and made her way down to the kitchen.
"Has the food gotten here yet?"
"No but Dot is making her famous triple chocolate brownies" Kiko spoke across the island from Dot's array of bowls.
"These are for the movie later, no early tastings!"
"Awww"
Agatha took a seat on the armchair in front of the tv. Nicola and Sophie were cuddling together on the loveseat. Hester was sitting on the floor leaving against Anadil who was braiding her hair from the couch. Agatha watched the movie as she waited for the food to arrive. She was starving. They were supposed to eat dinner hours ago. 10 minutes into the movie there was a knock on the door. It was the food. Agatha thanked the delivery man as she took the food from his hands. Just the smell had her mouth watering.
"Foods' here!"
"Finally!"
The girls all met in the living room. They watched the movie and passed around the containers of takeout. They laughed and cried and ate. Everything was so peaceful. Agatha couldn't remember the last time she had enjoyed herself in such a simple way.
"Now that the movie is over time for some...music..." Sophie snatched the remote from Agatha's hand.
"Why are you being so cryptic blondie?"
"I'm not!"
"Yes you are" Dot deadpanned as she stuffed the last piece of brownie into her mouth.
"Ugh, It's just that there's this one song on the album that Tedros told me about and I want to listen to it."
"Well why didn't you just say that-"
"Dramatic flare" Sophie smiled brightly as she turned on the song.
"It's been seventeen days since you left
Twenty hours and thirty minutes
Count the seconds every breath
And watch the road roll out like ribbon
And maybe she just can't forget
All the miles they have driven
Since the moment that they met"
Agatha could already feel her pulse speeding up.
"He took her heart
Into his hands
Turned into ashes
Slipped through his fingers
It tore him apart
And he couldn't stand
Watching the magic
Turn into cinders"
Agatha was already feeling emotional. Is this what Tedros felt he did to her?
"So when you pull away
Don't let the memories blind you
All of the things you chase
Falling away behind you
Is something you can't replace
Chained to the love that binds you
Don't let the past remind you
She's the last of her kind
The last of her kind
The last of her kind"
"that's so sweet but so sad" she heard Nicola say
"It's been twenty-three days since they spoke
And he almost sent a postcard
In every sentence that he wrote
Etched like tombstones on a graveyard
And maybe he just can't accept
All the strings that needed changing
The mistakes that he was making"
Agatha has never considered what Tedros was feeling when it happened. She sort of never let him explain himself.
"He took her heart (he took her heart)
Into his hands (into his hands)
Turned into ashes
Slipped through his fingers
It tore him apart (tore him apart)
And he couldn't stand (he couldn't stand)
Watching the magic
Turn into cinders"
She got a sick feeling in her stomach. She felt slightly remorseful about just leaving without an explanation.
"So when you pull away
Don't let the memories blind you
All of the things you chase
Falling away behind you
Is something you can't replace
Chained to the love that binds you
Don't let the past remind you
She's the last of her kind
The last of her kind"
She was going to have to do something to make up for breaking 17 year old Tedros' heart.
"Damn, I never thought I would feel bad for the pretty boy" Hester spoke as she clutched Anadil's hand just a bit tighter.
"Let's listen to the next one"
The melody was nice, it sounded very sweet,
"I'd like to say
I'm ok
But I'm not,"
"oh..."
"I try
But I fall,
Close my mind
Turn it off"
"Agatha what did you do to him." Kiko asked from her spot on the couch.
"Are there any happy songs on the album?" Hester asked before stuffing a handful of popcorn into her mouth.
Agatha was flushed, her face a shade of bright red. Her poor fiancé. She snatched the remote back and turned off the tv.
"Ok, that's enough. We can listen to the rest tomorrow, we have the final fitting for the dresses later today."
"Ok mom."
Agatha glared at her best friend before throwing a throw pillow at Sophie's head. The blonde fell back onto Nicola who in return threw a pillow at Agatha. Her aim however sucked, so she ended up hitting Hester in the face. Hester retaliated and ended up hitting Kiko in the gut. Kiko hit Anadil. Anadil hit Dot and so on and so forth until it had erupted into a full out pillow fight. Agatha would have never guessed that her bachelorette party would have ended with a slumber party consisting of 7 thirty year olds having a pillow fight.
"Enough! My face hurts." Kiko spoke as she rubbed a red spot on her forehead.
"Seriously, it's 4 am and the fitting is at 9. And I know for sure that some of you do not handle sleep deprivation well. I'm looking at you Sophie."
Sophie stuck her tongue out in mockery.
"How are we splitting the rooms?"
"Hester, you and Anadil take my room"
"Nicola and Sophie, you guys can share the guest room. I'll stay with Dot and Kiko in the living room."
Agatha knew what she was doing. Anyone with eyes could see the way Sophie and Nicola looked at each other. Well except them, they were oblivious. Or maybe they didn't want to notice. Agatha wasn't one to usually play Cupid, usually that was Sophie's role but this matchmaker role was pretty fun.
"Goodnight everyone! Sweet dreams ladies" Kiko said before claiming her spot on the pull out bed. Hester, Anadil, Sophie, and Nicola all headed upstairs with spare blankets in hand. Agatha claimed her spot on the couch across from Dot and Kiko. Everyone had settled and the house was quiet but  Agatha couldn't sleep. There was nothing particularly pestering her mind but she couldn't fall asleep. She was staring at the ceiling thinking of Tedros and his song. It was almost as if he could read her mind. Her phone screen lit up the dark living room.
