Back In Time || tom riddle x harry

Tom's pov

We lay there for some time holding hands. I could see harry looking at me from the corner of my eye and looked over at him. He smiled at me and gave my hand a small squeeze. I blushed and just stared into his green eyes. I have never been like this with anyone and it almost felt natural to be like this with harry. I closed my eyes again and turned my face to the sky. I felt harry let go of my hand and my heart dropped but then I felt an arm wrap around my waist and something on my chest. I opend my eyes to see Harry's head on my chest and his arm around me, he was playing with the sleeve on my arm.

"You can push me away if you want... I don't know it feels natural to be like this" he said. Looking up at me nervously. I smiled and wrapped an arm around him making him blush more then he already was. Soon he moved and quickly got his bag getting up. I looked at him confused but grabbed my bag and followed him as he was walking quickly to the building.

"Harry! What wrong?" I called running up and walking beside him

"I forgot about Sev! God I hope hes not mad!" He said, although more to himself then to me. We walked into the slytherin common room and up to the boys dorms. I went to go into my own room but harry stoped walking and looked over at me

"It was nice... yknow tonight" he said blushing. I smirked and nodded my head

"It was" I said back. He then turned and walked into his room leaving me to watch him leave. I smiled and walked to my lonely room and flopped down on my bed.

Harry's pov

Severus was laying on his bed sleeping. I sighed and threw my bag on the floor and shook him awake

"Sev" I whispered shaking him a little harder. He opend his eyes and smiled at me

"Hi" he mumbled. I sighed

"I'm so sorry I lost track of time" I said. He laughed

"Its fine. You and riddle would make a cute couple" he said and then winked at me

"What-" I whispered shocked

"I came to find you and seen you and riddle holding hands" he said. I felt sick... what if Severus wasn't okay with it...

"Relax harry! I'm not homophobic" he said laughing

"You sure you're okay with me being... gay" i asked. He smiled and nodded his head

"You're my best mate no matter what!" He said laughing. I smiled thankful. We decided to go down into the common room and read for awhile. We sat on the couch and used the table as a footrest. I started reading the book Severus had recommended, after the first chapter I was already addicted to the story.

"Hiya Tom" I said walking up to him after class. I wanted to know what he thought after last night. Although Severus was right beside me I dont think Tom's gonna say anything. Tom gave me a weak smiled.

"I'll leave you two alone" Severus said realizing he wasn't really ment to be there

"See ya later harry" he said and walked away. I laughed at my friends awkwardness and looked up at tom. 

"About last night.." I mumbled going serious. I loved last night. I wanted to spend more time with him like that. I just wanted, hoped, he felt the same

"It was a mistake I'm sorry Granger" he said.

"Wait what?" I said my eyes going wide. He sighed

"I know it was just a "in the moment" thing for both of us. I'm sorry" he said and then walked past me. My heart dropped and I turned around watching him walk away. I ran to the library where I knew sev would be

"Harry, you okay?" He asked shocked as he had never seen me like this. I hugged him and cried into his shoulder. For some reason tom saying that hurt way more then it needed to. He was a little shocked but hugged me back not saying anything.

"Harry?" He whispered after a while and after my rather loud crying had become little sniffs

"He... he said it was all a mistake... last night" I said my voice breaking at the end. Severus face dropped and he looked at me with sorrow.

"Oh harry..." he whispered. I sighed and grabbed the book from my bag and sat down angrily. Severus just stared at me before sighing and sitting next to me and doing his homework. We sat there for hours. I finished the book and shut it gently and handed it to Severus and got up leaving. He watched me but knew better than to follow me. I walked around the school grounds to I got to the lake. I got a stone and threw it into the water

"Harry?"

I looked around to see tom. I scoffed and shoved my hands into my pockets and looked back out the lake. He walked up to me and linked his arm with mine

"What is this? Another in the moment thing?" I spat. He sighed

"I'm sorry harry... I didnt mean it like that... I'm just... scared of liking boys" he said. I didnt say anything and just looked out the lake. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder

"You just admitted you like me" i said. He froze and then sighed

"Okay so maybe my stupid ass liked you when I first seen you be thrown from Dumbledores office" he said. A cold wind came from the lake making him shiver a little. I took my hand from my pocket and took his hand before shoving our hands into my pocket. He blushed and looked away from me.

"Maybe my stupid ass liked you since you fell over in the library" i said. Mocking him when I said "my stupid ass" we both just stood there blushing before we heard the sound of foot steps behind us we quickly jumped away from one another and looked to see Severus

"Sorry! Did I interrupt something?" He asked. I laughed under my breath but didnt answer his question

"What do you want?" I asked kindly.

"Oh, I just wanted to ask if you, well and riddle as well I guess, wanted to go to the ghost party. Some ghosts have asked me and I'm aloud to bring friends" he said awkwardly knowing he had definitely interrupted something.

"Do you wanna go?" I asked tom looking at him, my eyes begging him to come. He gave a half smiled and nodded his head

"Sure" he said.

"We'll come" I said smiling. Severus smiled and nodded his head

"Meet me in the common room at 6 then" he said and quickly walked away.

"A ghost party" tom said and laughed. I smiled and sat down. He followed my actions but lay down and rested his head on my lap. I blushed and watched him close his eyes. I moved my hand to his hair and started playing with it gently.
