Sunlight filtered through the dirty windows in my small hotel room, waking me from my fitful slumber. Stretching and letting out a yawn, I glance at my pocket watch that I have placed on my nightstand. I gasp, realizing that it is almost 8:00.

"Oh god! The streets are probably crowded by now!" I had hoped to get out earlier than this to avoid any traffic to and from the fair. Sighing, I threw on my day clothes and stumbled down the hall, almost running into Mr. Holmes in the process.

"Sorry Henry, I must get going!" I say, heading towards the stairs.

"It's fine, these halls are rather small anyways." He flashes me a smile, and briskly walks off, a red, misshapen bundle in his arms. 'My, Henry is so charming.' I shake my head as I step out onto the busy street. 'I must focus on the task at hand.'
