Chestnut (Danganronpa, Byakuya Togami Fanfiction)

Ch.4

Few days passed with no killings, and everything seemed to be going just fine. Chestnut spend almost every moment around Mondo, not because she liked him, but simply because she felt safe around him, that and he was good in bed. Ignore the fact that there were cameras in the dorm, not that it bothered her, but Mondo, she was able to convince him that 'whoever was watching, let them watch free porn and good porn at that.'  It wasn't until the third day that things changed. During the morning announcement, they were all called to the gym. Chestnut left her room and looked around for Mondo, but instead, say the annoying Byakuya instead. He took once glance at her and went.

"Tch." She was about fed up with him.

"Don't start Togami, its too early I haven't even had my coffee yet." He didn't reply.

"Is this asshole bothering ya?" mondo said coming up behind her. She grabbed Mondo arm and said.

"No, he isn't worth my time." She stuck her nose up in the air and walked passed him with Mondo on her arm.

"Pathetic." He mumbled as she passed. They made their way to the gym and once they entered Chestnut ran into Makoto.

"Yo Big mac, you know what's going on?"

"huh? Big mac." she shrugged and smiled, which caused Makoto to blush. "uh, I have no idea whats going on." With that Monokuma popped up.

"Christ!" Chestnut yelled getting scared.

"You don't need to get scared every time I show up." Monokuma said looking sad. She huffed.

"if you went so evil, I'd say you're cute."

"Me, Evil, Never!" He said with a tilt of his head.

"you kidnapped us and are forcing us to stay here unless we kill someone, that's pretty fucking evil to me!" Mondo snapped.

"Yea, but no killings have happened and I'm getting bored."

"B...bored?" Toko stuttered. Monokuma puhuhu laughed.

"Bored! And with that I decided to give, you guys a motive."

"Motive!" Makato yelled. Monokuma helped out a box. They all slowly approached it.

"In this box you will find a disk with your name on it."  Chestnut grabbed the one with her name on it. She looked up to ask Monokuma a question but he was gone as soon as he appeared.

"Gah! He's gone already!" Hiro said.

"Where are we going to watch these?" Junko asked.

"I found an AV room, there's bound to be a way we can view these tapes in there." Makoto said. He stormed out of the gym and they all follow.

Entering the AV room there were sets of DVD players and screens. Everyone hesitantly sat in one and popped In their own disk. On chestnuts screen appeared to be her mother. She was sitting on the couch next to a man she didn't know. She assumed it was just another one of her hookups.

" Azuiki, please stay safe there. Remember get your grades up and even if you must use one of those boys their to do what you need done. Make mommy proud. I love you dear." She smiled and the screen went blank, but the tape was not done. Another image appeared but this showed her home torn to shreds and bodies, multiple bodies of men and women sprawled out dead. And one of those bodies was her mother.

"Mama?" she asked. Then came on a familiar voice.

"It looks like mommy dearest took more than she can handle, but is she truly gone forever." The screen went blank and the words 'find out after graduation' appeared. Tears filled her eyes. She looked around and everyone had the same look of horror on their face. She stood up and left the room.  She heard commotion coming from the AV room but she paid it no kind. She started speed walking to her dorm but on the way there she ran into someone causing her to fall to the ground.

"Watch it." A voice said she looked up to see Byakuya. She sighed and stood up adjusted her dress and pushed passed him and went into her dorm. She cried her eyes out. Her mother was dead for all she knew. Or yet maybe not, maybe she was just knocked unconscious. She started shaking feeling sick to her stomach. She was close to her mother. She was the only consistent thing in her life. She showed her everything. From how to lure men and women, to find taste and value. And she showed her love. Not any romantic kind but she proved to her that love does exist, very rarely but it does.  She started to choke she couldn't breathe. Then her door bell rang. She stood up shaking and wiped her face and answered the door. She expected to see Mondo and was going to throw her self at him. And that's what she did. As soon as she opened the door she flung her self and started sobbing.

"It's awful mondo, absolutely awful, my mother..." she trailed off. The person she flung her self on cleared their throat. She looked up and came face to face with blue eyes and blonde hair. Byakuya. And he had a scowl on her face.  "Oh, sorry she said backing away shaking."

"So I was correct." He stated.

"Huh?" She wiped  her face.

"When you pushed passed you seemed upset." He held out a hand. "Don't get this confused with me caring, I assumed Mondo was going to show up with whatever fantasy you two have been playing.. I was simply going to tell him to check on you but he simply just walked passed me. No doubt whatever he just saw bother him."

"It didn't bother you?" She asked.

"Tch." He said looking down. She didn't know what that meant. "Anyway, I see you're in no state of mind either."  She rolled her eyes.

"Doesn't matter. Like you said you don't care."  He just stared at he, "you can go, I'll be fine."

"I just wanted to make sure you weren't planning on killing anyone." She glared at him.

"If I do, you're first Togami." He laughed at her. She shut her door and went to her bed. What had become of her life, what was this.  And why was she all alone.
