Bonus: Nicole's First Kiss

(It's in 3rd person)

        It was freshman year. Nicole had been crushing on the cutest and most popular guy in high school, Daniel. She had only told Melissa about it but everyone had noticed BUT Daniel. When it was finally time for prom, Daniel had taken Mindy, who was now popular, to the dance instead of Nicole. She felt a little heartbroken at first but Melissa helped her have a good time.

        During the party, Nicole had come in contact with Mindy. Mindy gave her a smirk and said, "I know you like Daniel, Nicole. In fact, everyone has noticed. But let me tell you something. Daniel is mine!" Tears had started forming in her eyes as she started running outside. Meanwhile, Daniel had noticed her running and started running after her, yelling, "Nicole! Wait!" Mindy looked surprised at Daniel's actions and decided to follow them secretly. Tears were rolling down Nicole's cheeks as she ran through the forest. Daniel followed her, surprised at how fast she could run. Nicole suddenly stopped, taking deep breaths. Daniel caught up to her short after. "What do you want?" Nicole said sobbing and trying to hide the fact that she was crying. "I heard what Mindy has said to you and... and... I have a confession to make," he said looking nervous. Nicole calmed down, noticing that for the first time that Daniel was nervous. She had never seen him nervous. He must have been serious. Suddenly Nicole had replied, "S-so do I..." "You go first," said Daniel. "No you go first," said Nicole. As they continued going back and forth saying "no you first," they both were lightly blushing. "Fine I'll go first. I..." Nicole was saying until she got interrupted by Daniel. "Nicole, the only reason I took Mindy to the dance is because I didn't want to loose my popular status. I didn't want to take her, I honestly didn't! I wanted to take you! I've been crushing on you ever since I first saw you, but I've been too nervous to tell you. I was afraid you might not like me back. I might look like I'm so confident and brave but what not but I'm not! I'm really not! Well there you go. I admit it. I'm in love with you! There! I said it! Even if you don't like me back. I'm in love with you!" Daniel confessed as he burst in tears. Nicole looked surprised. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Daniel started to speak again, except this time with a whisper, "Do you like me back?" "Y-yes, yes I do. I was too nervous to tell you since you were so popular," Nicole admitted. She looked at him. There were tears rolling down his cheeks. She reached out her arm and gently wiped his tears away. "You... you really do?" Daniel responded, nervously, "yes... I do..." Nicole said gently. "Good," Daniel said. And before she could answer, Daniel leaned over and placed his lips on hers. Nicole immediately started blushing insanely as her heart beated faster, but then she calmed down. Mindy, who was hiding in the bushing, was furious. "How could he!" she thought, "How dare she!" Daniel pulled back and said, lightly blushing,
"So I guess we're boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Nicole was surprised as the words came out of her mouth without her knowing, "Yes. It's been my dream for you to ask me. I also have been dreaming of our first kiss, but the real thing was ten times more amazing. Nicole blushed and so did Daniel.
"It was, wasn't it?" "Yep. Maybe we should do it again soon." Nicole answered as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "We should and, don't worry, we will." Daniel said as he finished the conversation.

        They went back to the dance, but this time, Daniel went with Nicole. And the rest of the night was wonderful for both of them.
