Chapter 20
"I'm pregnant," my mom said.
"What?" Josh and I said smiling. "Congratulations!" we ran over to my parents and hugged them.
"That's awesome!" Josh said.
"It is, how many weeks are you?" I asked
"I'm about three weeks, I found out four days ago"
"Wow!" I said hugging my mom again.
"Let's eat," my dad said clapping his hands together.
We talked about our spring break over dinner.

School started two days after we got home and it seemed to go by quickly.
All the dances and school trips came and went.
Soon it was time for the senior dance and graduation.
I told Josh to go to the dance, since he didn't want to.
He stayed at the dance for a couple of hours then spent the rest of the night with me.

Graduation was a day away.
Everyone was signing yearbooks.
The last day of school was one of the hottest days of the year.
I was wearing a tank top and a short skirt.
Josh opened the door as I came down stairs.
"You look hot" he said smiling.
"So do you, you're sweating"
"Ha, ha, cute" he mumbled sarcastically.
I giggled as I walk to his car.
We meet up with the rest if the group and hung out near my locker.
"Where's Susan?" I asked when I realized that she wasn't here.
Demi took out her phone and texted her. "She's coming" she informed us.
We continued are convocation until Susan came running into us.
"Guys, guess what?!" she yelled. "I'm the valedictorian!"
The squealed and hugged her.
"That's great babe," Luke said giving her a hug.
"Thank you" she said giving him a long kiss.
Demi turned to Jerry and kissed him, the Josh turned to me and kissed me.
"Okay, people, stop kissing," Alex said. We all started laughing as we went to our classes.
Everyone but the seniors went home early.
They had graduation practice for the rest of the school day.
I was at Josh's house helping his father cook.
"Hey," Josh said walking into the house.
He kissed his mother before he entered the kitchen.
"Hey," I said as he kissed my lips quickly.
"Joshua, put on your cap and gown," Mr. Thomas said.
"Yeah," I agreed.
"No, isn't that bad luck?"
"Since when do you believe in bad luck?" I asked.
"Since now" he said sitting down at the dinning table.
"My little baby is growing up so fast," Mrs. Thomas said bringing the food to the table.
"We are so proud of you son" Mr. Thomas said smiling at him.
Josh smiled as we started to eat.

Josh and I were lying on his bed reminiscing.
"It's midnight we should go to bed," I said.
"Fine," he pouted as we got under the covers.
"Good night," I said snuggling closer to him.
"Night," he said wrapping his arms around me. He gave me a small kiss then we slowly fell asleep.

We woke up early the next morning to get ready for the graduation.
Josh wore dress pants and a button up shirt and I wore a yellow sundress.
I helped his parents get ready.
We left the house on time. Josh was jumping in his seat a little. He held my hand which seemed to calm him down.
We reached the school and hugged Josh good bye.
We took our seats outside and waited for the graduation to begin.
My parents joined us shortly after.
After about fifteen minutes music started to play and everyone grew quite.
The graduating class of 2010 walked down the rows smiling. They took their seats and the music stopped shortly after.
Our principal said a few words and so did a few teachers.
Susan gave an awesome encouraging speech.
Lastly awards were given and the principal gave each student their diploma along with a hug or a hand shake.
"Congratulations, graduating class of 2010! We did it!" Susan said as everyone threw off their caps and jumped out of their seats.

After the graduation there was an after party of the seniors.
Josh's parents and my parents made dinner and we eat as one big family.

Josh and I went upstairs to his room and lied on the bed.
"I'm going to miss you" I said
"I'm going to miss you too,"
I gave him a small kiss. "I love you"
"I love you too," he said.
Josh kissed me on the lips with all the love he had and I did the same.
We love each other...

**********Epilogue **********
Over summer vacation Josh and I sent every waking moment together. We went back to Italy and spent a month there.
We hung out with our friends a lot too. We took a long road trip, went to the beach, the park, and many other places.
Mike found another girlfriend, Candy, and Matt and Lucy got back together.
Alex and the waitress from the ice cream parlor, Melody, started dating. It turns out that they're going to the same college.
Josh left for college at the end of August, he was going to Harvard.
I wasn't looking forward to the next school year.
I was still, after all, the freaky sophomore.

Somehow, I managed to get by the school year.
Josh called me everyday, when he could. If he couldn't call me he would we would talk on line or he would send me love emails.
He would visit me very chance he got and holiday.
This made life slightly easier.
Lucy, the bus driver, and I were closer than ever. She was my best friend.
I'm still on the track team and I'm still the fast one on the team.
Over the years I haven't talked to Matt at all and neither has Josh.
But I'm not really worried about him; I'm just focusing on my last year of high school.
