I was now back home with only a few more hours to go before the party. Today had not been the best day, as much as i was upset with Levi, I felt like him seeing me with Brendon was the worst case scenario, and the worst case scenario just happened, that felt quite depressing. I knew that I had let Levi down and i didn't know how to even begin to fix it. Now he probably thought that i was dating Brendon and that was far from the truth. I still wanted to have a relationship with Levi, more that anything and Brendon dug me into a stupid situation. I tried to call Levi, but obviously he wasn't answering any of my calls. I called Asha.

"Hey Sof, what's up?" she answered quietly.

"Are you at Stanley's?" I inquired.

"Yup, why?" that would explain why she was practically whispering.

"Is Levi there?"

"Well yes, he kind of stormed in earlier, upset and has been in his room since."

"Asha, i fucked up." I admitted.

"Explain."

"Levi saw me with Brendon." I went on to tell her how the interaction had transpired.

"Didn't i warn you about Brendon?" i sighed. "Look Sophia, just come home and end this whole charade. Talk to your brother, talk to Levi and let's all be happy and enjoy your last summer together," she pleaded.

"I promised Brendon that I would go to a party with him tonight."

"Sophia, fuck Brendon and Fuck his party! Don't you want your boyfriend back?" she exclaimed as loud as she could, still talking soft to avoid Stanley from hearing her talking to me.

"Asha I have to go to this party, after the party though I will talk to them both, I promise."

"Well whatever you want to do I guess, i'll try to see if I could talk to Levi for you, to soften the blow, if I get a chance to do it without Stanley being suspicious." She continued, "Be careful at this party Sophia."

"Thanks Asha, I will be fine," I replied to her.

"Bye," she hung up the phone.

I glanced at the clock, it was time to get ready. After my bath, I straightened the ends of my hair again, then I tried to apply my makeup as best as I possibly had the knowledge too. My choice outfit for the party , was a black crochet knitted Kaftan with gold strips. I accessorized with gold hoop earrings and a simple gold necklace. I stared at myself in the mirror, finishing my look with red lipstick. I was satisfied with my look and I was sure that Brendon would be also. I took a quick selfie, I was so amazed at my complete transformation, it was almost unreal. I heard a vehicle beep outside, that must be Brendon, I grabbed my gold clutch bag, slipped on my shoes and went outside. To my dismay it wasn't Brendon outside, but rather his friend Khan. I stared at him confused.

"Brendon sent me to pick you up," he said , realizing my confusion. I nodded and opened the front door to start hopping into the vehicle. "I'd prefer you in the backseat, thanks." I was stopped in my tracks by Khans instructions. I went into the backseat and he took off to our destination. After five minutes of complete silence i asked Khan about Brendon's whereabouts.

"He is already at the party," he barely answered. It was evident that he didn't want to talk to me, so I remained quiet. Brendon's choice of friends were so stupid. I almost regretted not taking Asha's advice to not go to the party. Soon, Khan made a stop, but it wasn't at the party destination. I prayed that he didn't have to pick up Taylour, that would have just made this ride more unbearable. A couple minutes later, i saw a girl come outside and entered into the front seat and it was the first time Khan had smiled for the evening. She kissed him passionately, and his smile became even brighter in response. We continued on to the party route, she turned to the backseat and glanced at me briefly, not acknowledging my presence. Would everybody at this party be complete douche bags?
