Chapter 3

Maria rolled over, her hand slapping me in the face, I groaned and turned my back to her, it was friday, no classes, it was a free day and tomorrow was The Night Walkers Ball and everyone was excited including myself, tomorrow night would be my bitch and I knew it

"Flair I had the most oddest dream" Maria whispered her back to me, I seriously thought she was still sleeping "I was with you and Nodin and suddenly that guy Lukas showed up and I was so attracted to him and you know like his parent done that......anyway and there he was trancing me with his charm and suddenly I turn Crusnik and I tore you and Nodin apart" she whispered fear evident in her voice.

"Chill princess, you won't turn Crusnik as long as I'm here because, you know, I'd kick your ass" I whispered, she laughed and turned to face me wiping away tears "I was happy when I woke up and seen you laying here safe and sound lost in your own dreams" she smiled braiding a piece of my hair.

"Okay beautiful time to get up and have some tea before I die of caffeine loss" I said, she laughed and gasped suddenly, "what?!" I asked getting ready to fight "you're wounds are gone, completely" she smiled "I thought it was a dream" I whispered to myself "what was a dream?" Maria asked raising an eyebrow,

"These getting healed by Nodin" I said "why is he a curer?" She smiled as I nodded "oh my god that's amazing, no wonder he is the top student of this place, I only knew he was a vampire" she smiled "he's cute isn't he and he totally has the hots for you, you should ask him to The Night Walkers Ball" she squealed "okay then I'll ask him, if you ask Lukas because if I have to watch you two flirt one more time I'm going to vomit in your shoes" I growled drinking my tea and handing hers to her

Her mouth dropped open and her face curled up in complete disgust, "stop, ew no, I would never" she cried, I crossed my arms and looked at her "I'm seeing straight through you're bullshit" I laughed, she pouted and sighed "look, ok he's cute and really kind but I don't flirt with him" she said, I nodded sarcastically as I sipped on my drink then there was a knock on our door

"Nodin" Maria said as she opened the door, she giggled and pulled him into the room, I bit into an apple "you look amazing" he smiled, I gave him the 'are you blind' look and Maria  began to laugh knowing exactly what the look was.

"You must be here to ask my lovely Flair a question" Maria smiled, I looked at her in confusion "what the hell are you talking about?" I grumbled taking another bite of my apple, he looked from Maria to me from me to Maria "erm I was just here to check if Flair would like to get private lessons with me to build up her strength" he said crossing his arms behind his back

I licked my lips as he waited for a answer "well because you put it so nicely I couldn't deny this offer" I said rolling the apple that sat between my index finger and thumb, I looked at him and he nodded "sorry for bothering you ladies" he said before leaving.

I groaned and Maria pushed me out the door off the dorm "Ask him to the dance" she snapped before slamming the door closed.

I flew into the wall and groaned "a little more vampire strength, you failed at breaking my neck!" I shouted through the door.

I turned and seen Nodin staring at me, amusement spread across his face, I waved at him as I held my side "sorry Maria is having her vampire moment!" I growled knowing she'd hear it "don't worry I'm fine, go about your business" I smiled wagging him away

He chuckled and walked away, Maria opened the door and I pushed past her "vampire moment? Really?" She asked "yes, maybe i should have said you've been you having horny problems over Lukas" I snapped, she rolled her eyes and began to get undressed as I did "okay I'm sorry but I'm not letting you and Jane go there alone, you need the crazy bitch with you guys" I smiled, she laughed and tapped my shoulder

"Okay okay" she laughed, pulling on her jeans and knitted jumper, I grabbed my jeans and my t-shirt and jacket, then we left for class, science.

I jumped back as my experiment exploded around the room "too much" the teacher hissed, I groaned and leaned over the table just to get a smack across my butt, I squealed jumping up in shock, only to have something hot burn down my back, I heard the laughs of the new bitch group of the college, I screamed in pain and passed out.

I woke to myself floating and swaying, I groaned and forced my eyes opened to see Nodin carrying me on his back, I looked at him for a moment and snuggled my face into his neck, smelling his scent that made me go even more dizzy, we stopped at the nurses office and Nodin slammed through the door "Acid was poured down her back" his voice was fuzzy, I shook my head slightly as he set me down, I whimpered wanting to stay in his arms, then they turned me on to my stomach and began picking at my back

I squealed in pain as she poured something on it "I need to clean it, she can't heal because it's still in her skin" her voice was muffled too, she continued pouring whatever it was and I passed out again, when my eyes opened Nodin was close to my face worry in his face, his hand on mine, then I noticed the veins sliding up his neck and coming to his face

"No!" I screamed letting him go, he fell back and I jumped up grabbing his face as he lay motionless "Nodin?" I cried, then I realised this wasn't the nurses room and it wasn't my room, it was his room

I tapped his face and shook him violently before he suddenly grabbed me and spun me around looking down at me, I breathed out then began hitting him "you idiot don't ever do that again" I screamed

He chuckled then shook his head "I know how to not get killed by you, anyway how long have you had taking pain power?" He asked, I laughed and shook my head "what are you on about?, I think my power has screwed up your head" I laughed

"I'm not lying, you took my pain away just there when I was on the ground" he was serious, I looked at my hands then looked up at him "I'm sorry about that kiss the other day" he said, I blushed "it was just to heal your wounds" he added quickly

"Kiss me now" I whispered, he looked at me in shock then stood up pulling me up with him, he turned away from me and looked out the window at the sun shining bright outside, I walked up behind him and stroked my hands up his back to his shoulders then down his arms to his hands, his fingers slowly closed around mine and he sighed before the door opened

"Oh thank god, I was looking for you everywhere" Maria said loudly, I pulled away from him and we looked at her before she seen what was happening "yeah I'm fine now" I said, Maria's eyes where darting between Nodin and I, then she hugged me and left.

Nodin looked at me and I looked at him before i walked up to him again and slid my hands into his again, he looked at them then hugged me, I closed my eyes and stroked his hair before pulling away and walking out of the room after I said a quite thank you.
