College of Vampires (COV)

Chapter one

Oh hello there, so here i am, maybe i should introduce myself, my name is Flair Smyth and I'm not you're average 19 year old, sure i look like one, with my dark hair, blue eyes and unique fashion sense but a normal teen cant kill someone from one touch or drain them dry of their energy and then their blood, you see when i was about .... let's say ten, i was in school and suddenly i passed out, no big deal right ? Wrong, because this was the start of a monster inside me being born, when i woke i was hungry, and when i was getting lifted from school, i sat talking to a boy, when i dragged him away and sucked the life from him then drank his blood, then i waved goodbye to that school and hello home school, My Parents, (adoptive parents) became my meals when i needed them

i never touched them when i fed because i knew that would kill them, and when i became 17 i moved to my own place, away from my parents/ bloodbags and lived all alone, except for the one night stands but alot of them never left, never went home and then i met Maria and she saved my life, Maria is my best friend and i met her through a guy i was going to fed on that night, but she stopped me from doing it and a couple months later she moved in with me when we both turned 19 we got accepted into COV (College Of Vampires) and started there together.

Maria and i walked together laughing before the queens assistants voice began to echo through the halls "please all students gather in the grand hall" she said, we all ran inside and got the best seats, before anyone else "bitch" Mitch snapped, i hissed at him and grabbed his arm making him fall to the ground "prick" i snapped back before laughing with maria "ladies" Miss Samsons warned with a cheeky smile, we giggled and she sat near us still smiling

"good morning students" the queen smiled as she walked onto the stage "firstly i'd like to anounce that with the help of our security the Crusnik's have not tried to breech these walls" she smiled, we all clapped and many cheered "secondly The Night Walkers Ball is quickly arriving and I hope everyone will be on their best behaviour because if you do not, you will not be attending The Night Walkers Ball" she glanced at me slightly before smiling "and thirdly, I have left the best till last, Our prized student has returned to study more and teach the students their exercise classes, please give him a grand welcome, Nodin" she smiled before clapping, we all joined in and he stood up

"Oh sweet Jesus" I whispered looking at this beautiful guy across the room, "stop drooling Flair, he's a senior" "meaning?" I mumbled "he was probably 100 when you where born" she smiled, I rolled my eyes and turned my gaze back to him

"I'm so glad to be back" he said making everyone clap more "and I shall be staying now for good" butterflies attacked my stomach when he said those words suddenly he was looking at me, those eyes, "okay students you are dismissed back to you're classes" the queen smiled before walking away, we all jumped up and when I looked for Nodin he was gone.

I sat in class and felt shivers run down my spine as the teacher talked about Succubus's and how they have evolved, I put my head against the desk and played with my torn jeans, Nodin was cute, I wonder if he's with anyone, "Miss Smyth?" Mr Nowles asked, I slowly looked up and came face to face with my new table partner "Nodin" I whispered in shock, "you don't mind if I sit here?" He asked with that Russian accent

"No I have no problem with that" I said playing it cool...ish, he nodded and pulled out a notebook, I rested my head down again and sighed "shouldn't you be paying attention?" He asked, I looked up at him and smiled

"Well no because I know all I have to" I mumbled before resting my head down again "okay" he said before i could hear the pen scratching against the paper of his notebook, then i fell asleep, i got woken up by tapping on my shoulder, i slowly lifted my head to see Nodin looking at me with soft eyes "you really should sleep better" he smiled before holding his hand out "come, time to get some food" i took his hand and he pulled me to my feet, my free hand pressed against his chest before i could hit it with my face

my touch wasn't effecting him in anyway, with everyone else they would get goosebumps or shocks that would make them jump but Nodin was very different indeed, I pulled away quickly and he chuckled before holding the door open for me, I bowed slightly and laughed walking out to see Maria with another girl

"Who is she?" I mumbled to myself "Jane, she's new" Nodin answered, I looked at him then Maria saw us "go on to lunch I need to talk with Jane" she said, well when I say she said, I actually mean she told me telepathically, I looked at Nodin and smiled slightly "she just needs to talk to her, you want to join me for lunch?" I asked, he smiled slightly then nodded "sure".

"So which one is for you today, blood or food?" Nodin asked, I shrugged and stood for a moment, deciding my pick for the day, "blood today" I smiled before walking with him into the blood rooms, "you can go in here flair" a nurse smiled, I walked into a room to see and old bully of mine "and make sure not to kill this one" the nurse added "I'll make sure she doesn't" Nodin walked into the room and the nurse nearly fainted

I rolled my eyes and sat down "hello jackson" I smiled grabbing his arm "flair Smyth long time" he smiled, I bit into his arm and he gasped "wooh tiger" he laughed, I could feel it, my anger flowing over the edge, I pulled away quickly and fell back into my seat knocking it back, I hit the ground hard and fast, I groaned and looked up to see Nodin leaning over me

"Seems you didn't need my help" he smiled, I held out my hands and he pulled me to my feet "well most the time I don't it's only sometimes like when I get these idiots" Jackson then began to come out of his trance and see the bite in his arm, he looked at me and began screaming

Before I could react Nodin was beside him holding his hand over his mouth "now we wouldn't want to make anyone angry would we" Nodin smiled an evil smile at Jackson making him scream more, "you were never here, you cut yourself while working, no big deal" as Nodin spoke, Jackson repeated his words

"And you never seen Flair Smyth, it was only a dream, a silly teen dream" Nodin said and Jackson repeated, I giggled at that and Nodin held back a smile "now sleep" Jackson fell asleep and rubbed his head

"Time for me to eat, I can feel the hunger" he smiled before biting Jackson in the same place I did, I bit my lip as I watched his neck move as he drank, I slowly walked over and stroked his hair lightly, suddenly he grabbed me and I was in his arms looking up at him, he looked at me for a moment then smiled "do you like stroking people's hair?" He asked a small smile on his face "I like your hair" I said stroking it again

He stroked mine and smiled "YEP I see why" he said before lifting me to his feet, he stood up behind me, close enough that I could feel my hair move against his chest every time he breathed in, I walked away and we both went out of the canteen area and back to the hallway

Then I seen her, Julia, she seriously knew how to piss me off "hello sucka" she laughed, I stopped walking and turned to see she was all over Nodin "hey Nodin" she giggled "hey Julia" he said trying to act happy, he was a terrible actor, if he wasn't trying to look sick of her, she smiled then looked at me "stop looking at me sucka, just because I'm with the guy you like" she snapped, I rose my eyebrow and laughed "go and suck your fathers dick Julia, we all know you do" I said before walking off, people began to laugh "how does it feel not to have parents" julia cackled walking away , I threw my bag to the ground and pulled at my top, i was too warm, i rubbed my forehead then stopped before closing my eyes

The grass I stood on began to turn black and die, I looked around and frowned before being grabbed "Flair" Nodin said before freezing on the spot "wooh that's strong" he said breathlessly, he slowly stroked my cheek and stared at me until he collapsed to his knees, i too collapsed but i fainted.
