A Single Solitary Seed
It was blown
into the air
floating alone,
now without a care.
It looked down
at the buildings and homes
in the moonlit town,
where the dark put the city in subtle tones.
The next morning, it flew,
above a seaside shop
and it knew
that here was the place to stop.
So it settled in the sand,
making the beach its home;
in this sandy piece of land,
it chose to grow alone.
