Chapter-8

Hikari quickly turned his head around when he suddenly heard someone calling out to him.

He was hoping that it was Xiang .

" Hey"

There stood Daisuke, who was looking down at Hikari. His red eyes that held an unknown emotion within them.

" O-ohh"

Hikari couldn't help but avoid the gaze that was given to him by the other male.

To Hikari, it looked really awkward and on top of that when Daisuke confessed to him , it made it even more uncomfortable for Hikari to be near with Daisuke.

" It's okay, I won't hurt you Hikari"

Daisuke then slowly bent down to meet Hikari's eyes.

Noticing the intense stare again, Hikari slowly gulped nervously.

" About earlier...."

Daisuke paused before slowly lifting Hikari's chin to meet with his eyes.

" Is it true? "

" W-what are y-you talking about ?"

Hikari nervously looked back at Daisuke before quickly questioning him back.

" About Xiang being your boyfriend."

Daisuke paused suddenly before locking his eyes with Hikari's.

Hikari could feel the coldness when Daisuke locked his eyes with his.

Hikari was literally getting nervous.

" Tell me that it's not true Hikari"

Hikari then suddenly felt terrified when Daisuke suddenly grabbed both of his shoulders.

Chills went up to his spines, when he noticed that Daisuke was smiling which didn't really looked friendly at all.

" I... Uh-"

Both Hikari and Daisuke looked back while causing Daisuke to quickly remove his iron grip from Hikari's shoulder.

Out of nowhere, Miyuki then suddenly appeared along with her other minions in the scene .

" Heyyy!"

Miyuki then slowly approached towards Hikari before slowly turning towards Daisuke.

For a split second, Hikari sweared that he saw Miyuki glared daggers at him before turning towards Daisuke.

" Oh my ! Daisuke-kun! What a pleasant surprise!"

Miyuki gasped before holding both of Daisuke hands in utter happiness.

" And nice to meet you too HIKARI"

Miyuki looked back at Hikari as she faked smiled.

" Hi Miyuki, what are you doing here?"

Daisuke asked as he slowly tried to remove the iron hold from Miyuki's hand.

"I....have to talk to you about something"

Miyuki smiled before never leaving her hands away from Daisuke's hands.

" Oh! And Hikari?"

As soon as, Hikari heard his name being called. His head quickly turned over towards Miyuki.

" Y-yes?"

Hikari then closed his eyes and faked smiled as he looked back at Miyuki.

" I have to talk with Daisuke right now so , shoo shoo!"

Without even wasting a second, Miyuki's minions then quickly grabbed Hikari's arms before shoving him out of the class.

" Don't forget to take this too!"

Hikari looked up as he suddenly saw his lunch box flying towards him.

And in a flash, a hand suddenly grabbed his lunch box while he slowly widened his eyes in complete surprise.

" Here"

Pale and Long slender fingers brushed through his hands as they slowly passed the lunch box towards Hikari.

" O-oh"

Breaking out of his trance, Hikari then looked up towards at the other person .

His heart thumped suddenly as soon as he locked his eyes with an familiar pair of blue eyes.

" You are useless, you know that?"

Xiang raised his eyebrows as he looked down at Hikari before quickly grabbing his hands and walking away.

Soon

" Thanks "

Xiang took a piece of sandwich from Hikari's lunch box before quickly shoving it into his mouth.

" Y-your we-welcome"

Hikari blushed before quickly looking down at his feet.

They were both currently at the roof top.

After some few moments of complete silence, Hikari then quickly tried to break down the silence by asking out some questions.

" You know, your questions really suck"

Xiang tilled his head before directly looking towards Hikari.

" R-really?"

Hikari then quickly looked down at the ground in complete embarrassment.

All he could hear was an sigh that escaped from Xiang's lips .

Till suddenly-

" Hikari, look at me"

Without even wasting a second, Hikari then quickly raised his head up to look at Xiang.

There was a moment of silence, where both of the two boys locked their eyes with each other.

Before then, Xiang broke off the silence,

" Hikari , don't let other people take control over you"

Hikari could then feel those long slender fingers brushed through his face.

" Come to me whenever someone hurts you again"

Getting no answer from the other male , Xiang then softly sighed before slowly caressing Hikari's face.

" X-Xiang...."

Hikari sniffled as he could feel his tears threatening to come out.

" It's okay Hikari, it's okay "

Xiang then quietly hushed Hikari before slowly hugging him back.

Hikari felt his heart beating loudly , and moreover he could feel his cheeks burning up .

" T-thank you..."

He couldn't help but feel safe that Xiang was with him right now .

He felt safe in his arms and moreover, Hikari felt happy .

He was happy that he met Xiang .

He couldn't express how much thankful he was and how much safe he felt whenever he was with Xiang even though they just met only some few moments ago.

He couldn't help but hug Xiang back.

Both of them, quietly enjoying and savouring the moment.
