Guilt

GALE'S P.O.V.

Guilt filled every inch of my body . I knew exactly who she is and i intened to kill myself for what have i done . I was frozen in place , unable to bare the pain burning down my chest . What kind of mate am i ? 

As much as i dont want her to see me , i wanted nothing more but to comfort my mate . 

I ran to her and kneeled infront of her . Soft sobs left her mouth , unwilling to look who is infront of her .This hurt me more than how it should . The pain was unbareable . Seeing her like this , chained like an animal , scared as a lost pup . What made it more worse was all the cuts all over her body . I couldnt show myself to her . 

I cupped her cheeks with both of my hands coming in contact with the mix of warm blood and tears . Her eyes were still closed as i lift her pale face . sobs still coming out of her mouth . 

"Fae .." I whispered . As soon as her name left my mouth , her eyes opened showing her bloodshot coral blue eyes . Relief and pain overcame her . All i wanted to do was to hug her and tell her how much of an idiot i was for actually being unaware that my mate is an elemental but everything stopped when she said 

" Why ?" a simple yet complicated word to hear . Disapointment overcame her as she cried harder . All i am giving her is pain . An endless stand of pain . Her crying slew down but her breathing increased . The next thing i knew , she was out of concious .

FAE'S P.O.V. 

"She's waking up " I heard as i open my eyes . My blurred vision was cured within seconds as i feel my whole body in pain . I look around the plain white room as my eyes came contact with my hand . 

Gale sleeping with my hand interwind in his . Yet i saw my wrist . Bruised color around it and it was all stitched up . It was also like that at the other wrist but without comfort of gales hands . 

My Mind tries to replay of me getting here . All i know is , one night i was almost gonna sleep but people came in and chained me which burnt my skin since it was pure silver and that was where they poked me with knives , grabbed my throat and slammed me every single time i would fight back . 

But why did they do that ? I dont recall doing anything wrong . My fingers twitched which made gale slightly aware that i am awake . A part of me expected him to not bother that i am alive but he backfired my thoughts . 

Hi face lifted showing off his paper white skin and brown eyes that were clearly bloodshot . I was well aware that i was staring at his oh-so-gorgeous-face but i couldnt care less . 

He was mine and i am his . 

But did he think of that when he almost killed me ? Ofcourse not . 

But why is it that no matter how much i wanted to ignore him , i knew that i really  cant . 

"Hey .. Feeling better ?" His raspy voice sending shocks through-out my body . I looked over my body and everywhere i mean everywhere there were stitches , if not , a bruised mark . 

"Well , i'm still alive " I bluntly answer . 

" You could leave now " He sternly said to the doctor . Which was stupid enough to follow his commands 

After the doctor left , he waisted no time to talk .

"Fae , i'm sorry .. I didnt know that you were an elemental " I was taken aback from his words . Okay truth be told , i noticed that i  am a strange shit . Maybe this was the explenation . 

" It's okay , if i knew i was an elemental . I would've told you " 

" Let me show you how real sorry i am " Who is this man ? 

"okay , but am i allowed to leave ?" 

"You were confined last week . The doctors said you fainted because of Major stress and you would only wake up if you are fully recovered . So yeah . You are allowed . " He explained .

I was out of the hospital the minute gale told me he would take me to a some sort of date . He said he was too busy to take me to one before but he realized that time is gold . 

I got dressed with a vintage floral dress and Flats . It was a body-hugging dress exept for the bottom . 

There were stitches visible to the eyes but it was healing faster than anticipated due to my 'elemental powers' That if i drink water , it will heal me eventually it even works with fire 

When i was all set , I went through the halls and out of the building . I saw Gale come out of the main building all dressed so formal (like always) . When his eyes landed on mine , a smile suddenly creeps on his face as he walks closer to me . I couldnt help but imitate his actions . 

"Y'ready?" 

"Ofcourse i am , gale " I answer . 

We walked shortly outside the teritory and i didnt even knew that it wasnt forbidden to go out . We stopped at a breath thaking view . It was a clear as in super duper slear lake with flowers all over the grass . I love nature . 

Call me a nerd but its true . 

All the pain that i brought was gone , finally gone by  just this simple so called date . 

He made me think that someone is actually gonna love me whoever i am .

SHort chapter but atleast i update twice tonight just because i love you all . HAhaha . Maybe i'll update tomorrow . And i have some great news Tomorrow .
