Moon-Night Waters

I see her there,

On the rail of a golden bout.

She’s just staring,

At the moon-night water down below.

She has the most stunning eyes.

Their bright blue,

Like the moon.

They look through your mind,

In your very soul.

But,

They have a certain forlorn look,

That once you see it,

You cry.

Everyone would ask her,

“What’s the matter? Can I help?”

And she says, “You can help,

If only you can change the world.

But you can, you just won’t.

You have the power within yourself,

To change the world to

A more moon-night lit place.”

And as she says that,

I look around and see

That as she spoke,

A certain light came about her face

And so did others, as they listened.

And when she stops,

You got her message.

“Be good, change the world”

Then, she left.

People say she left without

Answers to our questions.

But I don’t think so,

How could she,

When she’s an angel,

And giving us,

An important message.
