Rhyme Royal: "I Kill Buckets for Him"
I fell upon the world of royals
Changing, I seek my child, to which I will encrust my love
But finding his lust, I was met only with toil
My boy used to be as sweet as a dove
He saw joy in toys, trains and books. My flesh and blood was my dearly beloved.
A vampire took him, corrupted him, picked the strawberries of his innocence
And in doing so, I became my son's flunky, killing buckets to ensure his vampiric brilliance

This poem is about what Narcissus would feel if her son, Rinaldo, was turned into a vampire. Theoretically speaking, she wouldn't kill for him. Inspired by Interview with the Vampire. It would be funny if TSODR crossed over with that book/movie. The rhyming style of Rhyme Royal, as said by Wikipedia, "The rhyme scheme is a-b-a-b-b-c-c." And so ends this poetry collection! All poems are (c) to L'Poni Baldwin (me) and the TSODR universe and it's characters are (c) to L'Poni Baldwin (me). I hope this wins the attys! I really wanted to include my poem, "We were Once Hippies" in this collection, but the limit is 10 poems. You can find that one and my other collection, Dragonworld ETC, on my profile. I had fun crafting this!
