No Fears

Pinpricks sparkle through the curtain of night
Soon to be smited from heavens spire
A million fire jewels burning bright
Extinguished by the great Wheel of Fire
The beautiful night
The merciful night
I want to stay here forever
Keep the light away
Day floods the dark, I pray for drought
The tide of day flows in to drown the beach of night
I bury myself deep down under cover
Awaiting the time to caress my evening lover
Forever night
Forever safety
No fears
No sorrows
That's how I long inside for it to be
A place to lose myself, where I can hide my soul
The blanket of darkness is enough to comfort me
Until the Wheel of Fire once more will roll
