But in the end, the sun will rise. You may not like it, but remember my dear, the moon will return to play with you once again.

"Your like an eight year old." The girl suddenly stated, as the man she was talking to was patching her up. Her shoulder was now back in place, ban aids, and gauze almost covering her whole body, and now it was just her ankle.
"Hurtful." The god chuckled lightly, focusing on this little girls ankle. It was broken, that was for sure, but he couldn't figure out how bad it was.
She was watching him curiously, her eyes watching him, "i dont mean it like that. Your like an eight year old, because you just wanna have fun, not necessarily cause harm."
For a second, he thought that through, wishing it were right, wishing he could write his wrongs, and then correct them. He only shrugged, before going back to trying to treat this girls ankle. He had decided it was a small break, along the lateral malleolus. No bones where misplaced, so that was convienently very good. He carefully wrapped a splint around her foot and ankle, knowing full well that she would not sit well with a cast or a boot. As it was, she very well not going to keep this on. He was quite right, as he saw the small look of annoyment cross her features for a split second. Of course, it returned to her normal emotionless one fairly quickly.
"Just for six weeks, and you'll can then take it off." Slight hesitation, before a small nod. She very well didn't plan on keeping it on that long.
A slight sigh from the mischievous god drawed her attention to him, " Come on. " Was all he said, before picking her up once again, and carrying her else where.

What drove them crazy the most, was that they couldn't find her. They had found  where she was taken, a HYDRA base, but through all the derbies, and decay, she wasn't found. It relieved them a bit, to know she wasn't dead, but at the same time worried them more. If she wasn't there where else could she be? Where else could she be, if no HYDRA bases had her? Did a different threat have her, or was she lost and alone? Was she hurt, or was she fine and looking for them? To many questions, not enough answers.

A day had passed, and the pain, felt worse. She was sore, and walking didn't seem to be in her favor. Despite the splint on her ankle, it felt like pain came shooting up her leg when ever pressure was placed on it. When none was on it, a dull throbing pain was always present. She made the man,she now knew as Loki, carry her around.
While this gurl had to deal woth the pain, the god of mischief was debating what to do with her. She wasn't safe here with him, or by herself with people who could hurt her. At last he came to the conclusion, that giving her to his brother was the best option he could come up with.
Thor was an idiot in his mind, but he would protect this girl, and also possible bring her to the Avengers. Despite how much he disliked the Avengers, they would be able to keep her safe. So he waited for her to fall asleep; curling in on herself, her head resting on her arm, and knees brought to her chest; before he summoned the oaf of a brother that he had to put up with for years. Despite calling for him the night before, the Thunder god came the next night.
"Brother. Why did you call for me?" His golden hair slowly going back to resting on his shoulders, after traveling through bifrost to get here.
The god of tricks and pranks hesitated. His normal confident demeanor faltering for a split second. "There is a girl. That i have with me."
Intrest had caught this gods attention. Could it be? The girl that came into there life, and was then ripped away again? "A girl?" He questioned. In all honesty, he was surprised, as to why his trouble making brother, was willing to let this girl go.
"Yes. A girl. I need you to protect her. " He didn't want to give up the little girl that was playing in a different area, but he knew she wasn't safe here.
To him, to the dumbed down god, that wasn't actually as dumb as some believed, this was even more surprising. Loki didnt have people he cared about, and wanted protected. He distanced himself, caused trouble, and try to take over midgard. Could it be, that maybe he wasn't as corrupted as some believed? "Ill take her brother, and ill protect her with my life. "
"Thank you." He mumbled quietly, the gratefulness leaking into his voice at his brothers response. He bowed his head, before putting back on his normal mask.
"Are you leaving me?" A small voice could be heard. A faint hint of sadness in her voice.
Looking off to the side, the slicked back hair god spotted her. Her midnight black hair flowing past her shoulders, as her heterocromatic eyes took in the scene infront of her. She was leaning against the side of a wall that lead out into the garden. Her right foot was lifter off the ground, as the black splint stood out from her pale skin. She looked fragile like that, but oh so strong.
The trouble making god walked over to her, bending down to her hight, "no, im not leaving you. I promised i wouldn't, didn't i? Your simply going to go visit with the Avengers for a little, but ill see you again my little trickster." He whispered into her ear, smoothing back her hair, before bringing it to the front. She only nodded, before hugging him. Despite the hug was for her comfort, the god couldn't help but wanna keep her for longer. For once again, she managed to make her way into another persons heart, to fill the void that was there.
When she let go, limping her way to the blonde hair god, he couldn't help but feel selfish, and wanna keep her for longer. He couldnt help the need of the warmth provided by the girl. At last though it was more important for her to be protected. For the Avengers weren't the only one aware of the threat, but he was to. If he didnt want this girl to be taken from him intirerly, he knew ho would have to meet the threat before it got to her.
He watched as his brother picked her up, before being transported along bifrost, back to midgard, where he was sure the Avengers were worried about her. A small tear rolled down his cheek, but it would be the only one. For he had work to do, if he didn't want more tears to come. Standing up atlast, he himself headed off to do what he had to, putting his full trust into the heros that claimed to be the protectors of earth.
