I have a bow in hand, Aaron himself made it apparently, it's better made than I thought it would be. I've been practising all day. There's a circular wooden target standing 30 metres away. I nock the arrow, draw and then realease, the doesn't fly very fast at all, in fact, it spirals out of control and falls just short.

'Put your back into it, not just your arms.'

Aaron has silently crept up behind me. How does he do that?

'I'm... Trying' I say as I nock another arrow and draw. I adjust my aim a lot until I'm sure of got it just perfect.

'Take your time.' Says Aaron sarcastically.

This time I let the arrow flying and it just hits the bottom of the target, a clumsy, slow speeding, shot. It hits though, just.

'You've been at that all day. Have you even had lunch?'

'Nope.'I say nocking another arrow. Draw. Release.

It hits a little higher this time. Yes.

'Well, at least you're improving. Come on Jack, you can't just stay at this all day.'

'Yes I can.' I nock another arrow and draw.

'Jaaaack, come on!'

'Nup.'

'This time the shot goes straight and faster than my previous ones, except it lands just to the left.'

'Fine. Suit yourself. Please?'

'Not. Happening.'

Nock. Draw. Release.

'Come on, at least have lunch.'

The arrow hits the top of the target.

'I should never have built that target.'

I can't help but laugh at that.

'Maybe you're right.'

'Pleeeeeaaaase?'

'Ugh, fine. I give up.'

'Yay!'

'Now, first is lunch and then, sword practice!'

'Hey, wait a second. You get weapons in these supply drops?'

Aaron laughs.

'We're not going to be using real weapons! We do get them though, to answer your question.'

'Of course I know we're not going to be using real weapons! It's just, why else would you be doing weapon practise?'

He shrugs, 'Fair point.'

Lunch consists of cooked rabbit and a few... melted... pieces of chocolate from my chocolate bar. Aaron stares at my chocolate when I get out of my satchel.

I grin at him, 'Want some?'

'Yes. Please.'

He doesn't even move his head to look at me, his eyes transfixed on the chocolate. I laugh in amusement at his wide-eyed trance like face.

I break off two pieces and hand them too him. He put them in his mouth and then leans back on the log he's sitting on.

'Ahhhhhhhhh, I can't even remember the last time I had this stuff.'

We're on a grassy hillside, where the trees clear away, naturally, not cleared artificially, at least, I think so...

I grin at him 'Good isn't it.'

'Mmmmmm, uh-huh. You know, I could get use to this.'

'Couldn't we all?'

'I believe we were going to do sword practice?'
