This Summer Night

This summer night, this summer night,

So majestic, the Sunset in sight,

The night falls, the animals sleep,

The fireflies wakes and begins to creep.

All is quiet, all is sound,

No more children outside are found.

The moon rises, the air begins to chill,

Blackness falls, in the sky the stars begins to fill.

So all begins to rest and calm,

It seems the world is sitting on your palm.

But from your home you hear one Shot,

Of a man killing another in the next lot.
