Moonlight

The night isn’t silent, tonight.

Silent like all my nights.

This ground spreading for million miles

Is all lit with moonlight.

Grieving, lying somewhere,

Not what I’ll do tonight.

‘cause the sky is spilled with stars like always,

But for once, I’m here to see their light.

Everything blue, still brighter than the sun,

The moon is winning the fight tonight.

My feet on the ground feel like a dream,

My prophesy says, it will all go white.

I sought these illuminating rays,

For the strength and sight to flight.

Even if this is a dream,

My pen and paper at home won’t stay quite.

dedicated to @iamfaggothearmerawr and partially to @empty_promises... they both suggested the similar word. :) thank you!

Sorry for being disloyal to the account lately. life is changing, and i'm running to catch up. ;)  I hope you liked the poem because I loved writing this one. <3
