Dating

Tam's POV
Dex looked up at me. "What did you do to my girlfriend?"
"Nothing!" But my brain was whirling. How much had I missed? Biana slowed her sobbing and Dex held her tight, all the while glaring at me. Sophie twined her gloved fingers around my cold ones. She whispered "He's got it now." She squeezed biana and stood. We left the house.
"Anyone else?"
"Not counting the parents, that's it." Her eyebrows furrowed and she replied to me, and added, "I need to show you something."
"What?"
"It's a surprise"
"Why?"
"It's a surprise."
"Where?"
"It's. A. Surprise."
"When?"
"Finally, a question I can answer!! Now."
"What?"
"Honestly Tam, do the words it is a surprise mean NOTHING to you???"
"Yep."
"Ugh. Just close your eyes and trust me."
She dragged me somewhere and I was falling. Shrieking. Boom. The void split open and closed.
"Ok, you can open your eyes now."
