5 Stages of Grief - I Love You Too AU

Alright, super quick update before I go to iFest again 😂
I managed to get some doodles done, so here we go!

I had the idea of drawing the characters in Just Dance 2014 outfits. These are just some ideas— they can definitely fit into other outfits well, and not even just 2014 😂

I know Blaze would also look good in Follow the Leader, but here I decided to draw her in Where Have You Been 😂

Rouge I couldn't decide, so in this doodle she's from She Wolf/Falling Into Pieces

Amy is Starships ^^

Sonic is Troublemaker— he was gonna be Other Side, but I decided that would kinda fit Silver a little better 😅

Because I had no ideas, I gave Maria to Shadow—
OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK THAT WAS NOT INTENTIONAL 🤣 I just now realized that the song I chose for him was... uh... probably related to something else about his character 😅

And lastly, Silver is Other Side as I've said before XD

I might make full drawings of all of them

I made a full one of Blaze's because, you know, she's our favorite cat gal 😂

I haven't drawn in my sketchbook in a while, so that was refreshing ^^

But yeah, that's it for the Just Dance part XD

Yep...
I drew some stuff out wit the characters as humans because I wanted to practice with their human designs

So in order.

The first doodle at the top left corner is of Sonic's spirit visiting Blaze, and she's crying obviously 😅

"I love you too."

And the next doodle actually isn't from this AU and is a Blaze design of another story I've put to the side for now (the Forces sequel)

Below that, Silver's anger towards Knuckles

"I'm not a coward, unlike you."

And Knuckles I'd deeply hurt by this...

Then there's the scene with Blaze hugging Tails, and to Blaze's surprise he actually hugs her back.

"I miss him, too."

Those were Blaze's thoughts as she comforted him.

And next...

I was talking with a friend today and we were talking about how Kobe died (rest in peace)
We talked about how it was hard to believe, but then I said, "Stages of grief, I guess XD"

And then it hit me

Literally the five characters that were still alive in I Love You Too fit so well into all five of those stages

So I drew each one!!

Amy is denial. Even though she knows Sonic and so many others are "gone," she still couldn't believe it and cried over it every time she thinks about it. Some could say she could be in the depression stage, but I'm the author, so screw you all, she's denial 😂
And in Sonic Forces it sure seemed like she was in the denial stage as well, so the parallels work XD

Silver is anger. That one was quite clear from the way he behaved in the story. At first he seem to be in the bargaining stage since he kept insisting he can still fight with the little hope he had, but he broke as soon as Knuckles began to speak. Silver is easily anger here.

Knuckles is bargaining. It's not perfect, but it works. He's given up sending people out, yeah, but even so, he still believes there could be a small chance. He acts like he's given up for a little bit, but he's truly holding onto the possible miracle of winning, even if the chances are super slim. He knows it's not gonna happen, though, so his hopes are just false, which is what bargaining is. I can't quite explain how Knuckles fits into bargaining, but I see it.

Tails is easily depression. He's not spoken a single word since Sonic died until Silver nearly said Sonic's name, and then again when Silver actually said it after Tails said not to. He just doesn't feel anymore. He sees no point. He isn't depressed to the point he'd kill himself, but he was not the same anymore.

And finally, Blaze is acceptance. She's the one trying to bring everyone back up. She grieved so much, but she finally just accepted that it was over. In the beginning, she tries to bring Amy back up, but then when that doesn't work, she tells her the harsh truth, like she has already accepted what has been happening. Sure, later she gets all emotional again saying she wishes she never made friends with Sonic in the first place so she didn't have to feel these feelings, but when Sonic came to visit her, she knew it was going to be alright.
So that's why I drew her with not only Sonic's spirit, but Rouge's, Shadow's, and Cream's since their deaths were mentioned as well

I might actually even make a full colored drawing of it, I really like the idea 😂

And let remember that this drawing idea came from Kobe's death

Rest In Peace, Kobe, even though I was never a fan of basketball

Again, if anyone ever draws art based off my books, I would love to see it ^^
I love that I manage to give people inspiration for drawing, I feel so happy 😂😂
I've already seen Twisted art and some ATSC art, and I love it so much 😂 Makes me smile every time 😊

I needa draw things for my friends when I have the time, too XD
