It was a rainy night, as Angel Investigations, Illyria, Spike, and Faith fought against the Circle of the Black Thorn, after Angel said, "I don't know about you, but I personally want to slay the dragon."
What felt like several hours later, the Circle of the Black Thorn was defeated, and everyone had been injured one way or another, while Wesley had been killed. And this is where Angel's story ends, because, after everything, he finally got what he desired the most. Redemption.
