It was a dark night, as Doyle and Cordy talked in the hyperion. He told her what he felt about her, and how he thought she would feel about him, considering that he was half demon.
"I rejected you long before now," she replied, adding in about how horrible his taste in fashion was.
Later that night, they worked together to save Doyle's breed from some evil demons who were full demons. The demons had made a globe thing that would kill everyone with human flesh, once the light from it touched them. Angel was going to do it, but Doyle did, instead. And right before he went to save everyone, he kissed Cordy and then turned his face into his Bracken Demon face.
"Too bad we'll never know if this is a face you could've learned to love."
They looked at each other, before he pushed Angel off the step to stop him, and went to the globe thing. Then he pulled the cord on it, rendering it useless, before it killed him.
Angel and Cordy could only watch, as he gave his life up to save everyone.
