One Shots

Draco

Cold stone on my feet made a shiver go up my spine. I grabbed my blanket, iPod and walked out of my dormitories and walked to the astronomy tower, that is where I go when I cant sleep. I walked up the cold steps and put the blanket around me, while listening to my iPod and I sang along with the lyrics.

"Just close your eyes

The sun is going down

You'll be alright

No one can hurt you now

Come morning light

You and I'll be safe and sound"

I finally mad it to the top, when I saw a familiar blond almost white haired boy looking at me, I froze. "sorry Draco I didn't know anyone was up here"

"no it's okay" he said and turned around I walked up to him and put the blanket around his shoulders and walked back to my room. why did I do that I thought to myself. I walked back to the dungeons covered in black and green. I saw Blaise sitting on the couch, I went and sat next to him. "why are you up, its like 3 am?"

"I could ask you the same question" he said in a quiet voice. "I cant sleep, haven't been able for a long time."

"Oh, well I know how that is." he said in a little laugh "well I'm going to try and get some sleep see you in the morning." and with that he left. I stayed in the couch and watched the fire. things have been hard on a lot of the Slytherins. I fell asleep, but I was woken up by the boor closing and I saw Draco walking towards the stairs, until he saw me. I got up off the couch and walked up to him, I looked into those amazing eyes of his, and i just wrapped my arms around him and gave him a hug. i had a feeling that is what he wanted and needed. I pulled away and put my hand to his cheek "It will all be okay, if it is not okay its not the end." I said to him I got up on my tip toes and kissed his cheek and walked up to my room with the other girls.

I got ready for the day, took a shower then get dressed. I walk out the door and then out of no where I am pinned up against the wall. "Stay away from Draco, he is mine." I just roll my eyes "Oh Pansy, piss off okay, plus you are no threat to me." i push her off me and walk down to the great hall and find the Weasley twins and walk up to them. "hey guys" I say

"Oh no Fred run its the nicest Slytherin in the school" George said

"Oh shut up" I said swatting at his arm with a smile on my face.

"well what can we do for you." Fred asked

"well I need something to play a prank on Pansy."

"then you have come to the right people." said George

"Leave it to us" said Fred and then they walked away. the day went by slow, I skipped the last period and went to my room and wrote to my best friend and see how she was doing then I walked to the owlery. I walked back and it was time for dinner, I looked around and didn't see anyone I wanted to sit with so I sat alone. I put a piece of chicken with potatoes on my plate and dug in. suddenly I was hit with a piece of parchment.

"Plan all set, just wait till tomorrow morning, keep an eye on her- F&G" "Ha cant wait see what happens" I thought to my self. after dinner I went back to the common room, grabbed a book and iPod and sat in front of the fire and read.

I looked at the clock and it said it was 12:03, I couldn't sleep again so got up put on a sweat shirt and walked up to the astronomy tower. when I got there I saw Draco again he had my blanket wrapped around his shoulders. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. he turned and looked at me. you could tell he hadn't slept in a long time with the dark circles under his eyes.

"are you okay?" I asked. he got this mean look on his face. "do I look okay." he snapped

"no need to be mean." I said and turned to walk away but he grabbed my wrist.

"I'm sorry, no I'm not okay, I just have a lot on my mind."

"I know, its hard with the dark lord back and its scary." I said putting my hand on his right shoulder.

"what you said the other night before you went to bed, it really speaks to me."

"well it speaks the truth, it will get better I promise." I said and kissed him on the cheek.

"why are you being so nice to me?" he asked. i heisted for a moment. "Some one has too." I took his hand in mine, "come with me." I walked him back to the Room of Requirement. I walked back and forth three times saying in my head "I need a nice place to sleep."

A door appeared and we walked him, it was a nice room with dark red walls and a King size bed with black blankets, and night cloths for the both of us. I walked over to the bed side and gave Draco shorts and a t-shirt. I took the other pair of shorts with a tank top and went into the bathroom and changed. there was a knock at the door, I opened it."can I come in and brush my teeth?" he asked "yeah sure." we walk back to the bedroom. I sat in the bed and pulled the covers over my legs.

"I guess I'll sleep on the floor." Draco said

"no you wont, You are going to sleep in the bed." I said patting the space next to me. "why are you being so nice to me?" he asked again. "because you need a friend or kindness in these dark times.'

"how did you get into Slytherin you are way to nice." he asked "I don't really know, I'm pureblood, and both of my parents were in Slytherin too so I guess it just runs in my blood." I said laying down. he laid down next to me "why did you choose me."

"well I saw something in you." I lay even closer to him and put my arm around him. " I know you are not happy Draco." I said looking up at him. I saw tears welling up in his eyes. "If I dont do as he says he will kill me or my family." he said tears slipping down his face. "it will be okay" I said kissing his cheek, and forehead, and then we laid down and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning in an empty bed. I turned and saw Draco standing up looking out the window. I get up and walk next to him in a nice quiet silence. "Thank you" he said and walked away. We got dressed and walked down to the great hall, when we walked people were pointing and laughing, and then I looked up and saw Pansy with bright green hair. I looked over at the twin and I mouthed "Thank you" and then kept laughing, I looked at Draco and he had a smirk on his face.

Classes went by so slowly. after last class I went up to my room and changed in to sweat pants, sweat shirt and muggle Uggs, and put my hair up in a messy bun and walked down for dinner. nothing looked that good so I took a roll and went back upstairs and read the muggle book Romeo & Juliet.

Angelina Greengrass and Pansy walked in "Do you know if Draco is going to be okay?" asked Angelina "He should be okay but he has to stay in the hospital wing for a little." said Pansy. I dropped my book and ran to the hospital wing. I saw Madam Pumfrey and asked if I could see Draco. "yes you can see if but keep it calm."

I walked over to his bed and sat on the chair next to him. he woke up and looked at me. "what happened to you?" I asked taking his hand in mine. "Potter and I fought in the bathroom, and he hit me with some spell."

"oh, well get some rest okay."

"wait" he said holding my hand tighter "please stay with me till I fall asleep." "okay I will"

He pulled me close to him and I leaned in and our lips met, when we kissed I felt like I was on fire. we pulled away and we just smiled at each other and kissed again.

19 years later

"I love you so much sweat heart, be good and have fun and do well in school" I said to my son

"Scorpius," Draco said kneeling down "you are going to so so well in school." they stood up and hugged Scorpius. "I love you son." "we are going to miss you so much." I kissed him on the cheek and he got on the train. "I know he's going to do well." Draco said "yes he will" he kissed my cheek and we watched at the train pulled away. i couldn't be happier.
