   <How would you feel about becoming my second familiar?>

Aadya blinked at the tiny girl that stood a few feet away from her snout, blue and purple eyes meeting her own black and purple, not even a hint of fear shown in those multicolored eyes.

<Why do you make this offer to me, Amara? What benifit does becoming a familiar bring to me?>

The girl smirked, glad that the Dragon asked the questions she had planned to hear.

<First off, becoming my familiar would bind our magic, meaning you had access to some of my powers, and I yours. As I am already part Dragon and an Elemental I am unsure if anything would actually change within myself, but you would be more... what's the word... accepting? Capable? One of those - of normal Wizarding Magics, such as the shrinking charm.>

Aadya narrowed her eyes at the human. She gave many good points, but Aadya was still waiting for the bit that would assist this human in double crossing her...

<What is the catch?>

Amara rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly.

<Well, the only way I know to bind a familiar and witch is with the old ritual, and it kind of binds us until either of us die, and if I were to die, you would too, and vise versa.>

Aadya was not expecting that. She was expecting the usual 'you must bend to my will' or 'if you betray me you will die a painful death' and all the other bull shite that Wizards usually demand of their familiars. Although, this was the Chosen, and she is said to return equality within the Magical World, so she shouldn't exactly be too surprised...

<What are your terms, Amara?>

She looked up at the dragon with a tilted head.

<Terms? What terms? I was under the impression that a familiar bond is a type of mutual understanding and respect held for one another, am I incorrect?>  She turned towards Kali at this, confused as to what Aadya meant.

Kali sighed.

<Not all Wizards and Witches respect their familiars the way they were meant to, Wizards these days treat familiars as if they were Muggle Pets! It's horrific, really... Anyways, they usually just go out, buy a animal they like, say a twisted version of the Familiar Bonding Ritual that would benifit them most, and they usually set out terms for their new 'pet', such as 'Betray me, you die', 'Protect me at all costs, even if it costs you your life,' stuff like that. The ritual Alice taught you, however, is the original, and it had been forgotten to time long before I made my way to this realm.>

Amara was enraged at this news, her wings flared out and her feathers rose on end, showing her anger even if her face didn't.

Aadya was suddenly very thankful to the Shadowy Being called Alice, for they had taught this girl something every Magical Creature wishes to be remembered.

<I would be honored to become your second familiar, Amara. If it is okay with Kali, that is...?>

Kali snorted, and Amara's rage faded out as her mind processed what was said as she smiled wide at the Dragon, hope and happiness shown in those purple-blue eyes.

<I knew the moment I caught wind of her scent that I would never be her only familiar - as long as you promise to never harm her, I have no problem with sharing my human, Aadya.>

Amara's smile grew, and she thanked her Demon familiar with a simply nod of her head and a bright smile in her direction.

She waved her hands estatically for the dragon to come closer, to were Amara could place her head against the giant Dragon's snout, as her head alone was much, much larger then even Tom.
