// Shane's POV

I'm engaged

It has been 6 months after Warren asked me to marry him and everyday, I'm still so amazed that I have this engagement ring and it's always shining for me

Kuya is always teasing me about it

Baka daw matunaw yung engagement ring in the long run if I keep on looking at it

You can't blame me, since I still cannot believe that darating ang araw na ito, that I am looking at my engagement ring and that I am in love like it is the first time

Warren got a job here in Australia but right now he's in the Philippines. We'll be an LDR couple but for a week only, I'll be coming home too to have vacation with a bit of work of course since I'll be dealing with the paper works na iniwan sa akin ni Jane

It is summer in the Philippines, the hottest and the sweetest kind of weather for me

That time of the year where we collect another set of good memories with good people

3 AM and I'm still proof-reading articles, I need to send this to Jane for her to double check. I have huge work load as of the moment since Jane is on Maternity leave, again. Their second child ni Chef George

I was about to take a sip of my coffee when I received a call from Warren

"It's midnight there, why are you still awake?" I asked

He chuckled "Shane, it's 3 AM there, whyyy~ are you still awake?"

"Tinanong mo pa talaga diba?"

"I miss you" he said

"Alam ko" I replied and we both laugh-out-loud

"Iba yung confidence level niya, umaapaw" he teased

I laughed "I think hindi ko na need ng coffee to be awake"

"Because you are talking to me right?"

"Ang kapal ng face talaga ng kausap ko" we both laughed "but it's the truth"

"Haay, I can't pick you up at the airport next weekend"

"I said it's okay diba? Just get me a room sa hotel where you are staying"

"Hotel suite, 2 rooms, one for you baby"

"Sweet. Thank you baby"

"But if you want, we can stay sa isa lang"

"Are you trying to seduce me over the phone?" I asked

He chuckled "Baby.. Are.. you.. Seduce-able?" He teased

The laughs that we are sharing are endless

Baby is not our official term for endearment, it all depends sa mood namin, minsan we call each other honey and hoy the next. Baby is the term we have right now, a mood for wee hours conversation maybe?

But, I've realized, mas madalas namin tawagin ang isa't-isa ng baby, and for me, it's kinda cute and sweet

"Hanggang anong oras ka magtatrabaho?" He asked

"I'll be done around 3AM dyan" I chuckled 

"Just continue that later, Shane, tulog kana"

"Warren, ikaw kaya matulog na"

We both chuckled 

"Ayaw ko" he replied "I'll accompany you until you finished what you are doing"
