Silent Symphony

I made it. I made it through to the other side.

They said that it was going to be hard, and they were all right.

I heard that we could never love, and in this they were wrong.

Even now I know that in your arms is where I belong.

I came out, turned on the light, walked through the flame.

And I want you to know, I would do it again even if the outcome was the same.

The world knows I love you, I have shouted it from the skies.

I have gone back and unwound all of our lies.

Secrets that we kept are thrown in the air for all to see,

Even if you left me.... it was worth it baby.

So, yes, it all came back and punched me in the eyes.

So, yes, I had to listen to those painful, horrible good-byes.

But all that pain, those fights that burned through the ground,

Was worth it for loving you, even though I couldn't say a sound.

She had a right to know, even if it hurt you and me,

It's impossible to listen to a silent symphony.
