A TRIPLE UPDATE... who am I. Lol anyway welcome to chapter sixteen. I just checked my story and we have hit 153 reads. I'm am so happy and I want to thank all of you, you're amazing. Above is Mrs. Easton's aesthetic. Idk why I even made her one, but it was fun. I also don't why I'm addressing her as 'Mrs. Easton'. It just feels impolite to call her Jenna, even though she's a fictional character but pffffft whatever. And let me know if you want to see any of the sister's aesthetics.

K let's begin.

Chapter Sixteen

C A R T E R

I'll admit. I feel bad for not telling Lily anything. But I don't want to rope her into this. Charlie's already in danger and I don't want anyone else involved.

Especially Lily.

After I dropped her off I went directly home, Murray's home. Charlie was at school, Emily was at a home schooling group thing and Murray was at the Dug Out where I planned on meeting him. First I grabbed my mask though.

I studied the broken window on my car.

This was gonna cost a fortune.

The brick. I noticed the brick still in the car with something tied onto it.

A note? These guys were old school. And destructive. I read the note carefully.

Think you can kill one of our guys and get away with it? Murray will pay for interfering with boss's wishes, you and your sister need to watch your backs as well. Actually don't, it'll back it easier to stab them. - Large

Large.

LARGE?!?!

This is why he's so powerful. He's working with the boss. Dang it why didn't I know this! I kicked the back of my car viciously and stormed inside of it, starting the engine. Murray was completely oblivious to this.

Or was he? He was the one who killed Newbie in the first place.

I parked not too far away from the Dug Out and discreetly made it to the entrance and told the guard the password.

It was full, not completely packed like on tournament nights but it was full. I heard two new fighters punching each other on the ring as I scanned the place for Murray. The broccoli headed jerk was no where in sight.

"How about that folks!" My head shot up to the front of the ring where some random guy that was not Murray was hyping up the crowd.

I shoved my way through the crowd while the new host finished introducing the new fighters. I took this opportunity to chat with Murray's replacement.

"You," I snapped, getting the replacement's attention. He was short with long, greasy hair and a beard. Along with a leather jacket and lots of rings.

"Sup! You must be Blade eh? I've heard great things about you kid. I'm Harley." He stuck his hand out for me to shake but I pushed it away.

"Where's Murray?"

"M-Murray? The old emcee? Yeah dude I don't know, some guys took him that way." Harley pointed to a hallway hidden in a corner of the building.

I huffed and jogged towards it. It was dark and damp, not to mention the smell was rancid. I heard yelling from afar which made me quicken my pace.

"You're friends with little Carter and Charlie huh?" I heard a voice taunt. "Well those two are as good as dead thanks to their Pops, nothing you can do 'bout it."
