From Heaven's ground above I see,
A great big world that used to be,
Of joys and laughs once shared with thee,
A happy life once meant to be,-From Heaven's ground I drop this rose,
To plant anew—the grand meadows,
"To love again"I know not this,
No star has passed to grant my wish,-From Heaven's ground I speak this prose,
"No use it seems", one might suppose,
"Forever gone" they may be right,
Yet even so, I wait each night,-From Heaven's ground I reminisce,
No point in so—I do know this,
But one can't help what one does feel,
My love for her, still very real,
As time should pass for wounds to seal,
I wait for time to pass and heal.
