Saturday at Scott's house:

Kitty was about to take a drive, when Scott stopped her at the door. "What are you doing?" She asked. "I need your help." Scott replied. Where are we going?" Kitty asked. "Just trust me." Scott replied. Kitty hesitated, but then shrugged her shoulders and followed her brother into his car. The two siblings then drove off.

On the road:

"Will you please tell me what's going on?" Kitty demanded. "I'm instituting a plan B against Sue Sylvester." Scott replied. "B as in what, breakaway?" Kitty replied sarcastically. "No, B as in...backup." Scott said. "You don't mean...?" Kitty started to say. "Yes; we're headed to New York. It's time to call in the big guns and the cavalry." Scott replied. "Why are we doing this? I said I was OK." Kitty replied sincerely. "Because you need professional help from someone who's gone through what you're dealing with before. I can only offer you love and support. Words of wisdom and advice on the other hand, you need another woman's perspective." Scott explained. "Who would that be?" Kitty asked. "Someone who you look up to and admire; In other words, someone you consider a role model." Scott replied. "Quinn!" Kitty gasped. "Yes, we need her help, and Santana's as well." Scott replied. "Why are you doing all of this for me?" Kitty asked. "Because I'm your brother, I love you, and I don't ever want to see you hurting like this ever again; Family & friends gotta stick together. That's what we're doing right now." Kitty smiled back at him warmly. "Thanks." She said. "You're welcome." Scott said chuckling. Then Scott began to sing:

(Note: Bold is Scott, Italics is Kitty, Underlined text is them singing together)

Looking out at the road rushing under my wheels
Looking back at the years gone by like so many summer fields
In sixty-five I was seventeen and running up one-on-one
I don't know where I'm running now, I'm just running on

Running on (running on empty)
Running on (running blind)
Running on (running into the sun)
But I'm running behind

(Kitty joins in)

Gotta do what you can just to keep your love alive
Trying not to confuse it, with what you do to survive
In sixty-nine I was twenty-one and I called the road my own
I don't know when that road turned into the road I'm on

Running on (running on empty)
Running on (running blind)
Running on (running into the sun)
But I'm running behind

Everyone I know, everywhere I go
People need some reason to believe
I don't know about anyone, but me

If it takes all night, that'll be all right
If I can get you to smile before I leave

Looking out at the road rushing under my wheels
I don't know how to tell you all just how crazy this life feels
Look around for the friends that I used to turn to to pull me through
Looking into their eyes, I see them running too

Running on (running on empty)
Running on (running blind)
Running on (running into the sun)
But I'm running behind

Honey, you really tempt me
You know the way you look so kind
I'd love to stick around, but I'm running behind
(Running on) You know I don't even know what I'm hoping to find
(Running blind) Running into the sun, but I'm running behind

"Made you smile." Scott said as the song came to an end. "Thanks." Kitty said. "Hey, we're here in New York." Scott exclaimed. "Quite the town." Kitty replied. "Yep, I know what you mean." Scott said. "Come on. Let's round up the troops." Scott quipped. "Right behind you." Kitty said.

So Scott & Kitty took a secret road trip to New York, trying to recruit the Glee Alumni for some backup and assistance in their battle against Sue. Will they be successful and can they convince the alumni to help them?

Find out in the next chapter!!!!

P.S. the song sung by Scott & Kitty on the road was "Running On Empty" by Jackson Browne.
