Julia got the amount of one thousand three hundred pesos after signing all the required documents at the pawnshop. She went straight to the nearest drug store to buy the prescribed medicines their school doctor gave her child. When she arrived home, her child was convulsing with high fever and had rashes all over. She grabbed her child and brought her to the hospital.
Never in Julia's wildest dreams did she ever think all these could happen.
Where did she go wrong? She gratuated Summa Cum Laude, became topnotcher in the Teachers' Board Exam, hired before applying in the University where she graduated from. After a year, of happy and more than satisfying teaching career, she married her teenage sweetheart.
