Chapter 10: Chii-chan

I'm really glad me and my stepbrothers are getting close but sometimes I feel uneasiness when they're around and I don't know why.

I was from school this afternoon and Natsume-san drove me home since I helped Yuki for the preparations of her candidacy, I stay longer at school and Yuusuke-kun went home ahead so I requested Natsume-san to stop over on a bookstore.

Mari: "Thanks you for fetching me after school, Natsume-san." -I bowed

Natsume: "My pleasure. Just make sure you'll go home after you buy some books here."

I nodded and waved my hands as he left home.

(BOOKSTORE)

I was finding a cook book, hoping to enhance my cooking skills when I suddenly bumped someone.

Mari: "Oh sorry." -I picked all the books and I noticed it was all manga.

As I look up to the person it was a guy wearing a school uniform of Hinode High.

"Its my fault for not looking." -he said as he picked the books that fell

Mari: "Ah right~! I remember you." -I said as I started to help him

He stared blankly at me.

Mari: "I remembered where did I saw you. You are the megane guy that I bumped at."

"So you remembered? You look very familiar to me, I thought." -he giggled

Mari: "Oh, let me help you." -I carried some of his manga

"Sorry for making you help me..." -we were at the counter to pay for those manga he'll buy

Mari: "Nah, it's fine. I'm just gonna buy a cook book." -I smiled

He got the cook book and paid for it as well.. Such a kind person!

Mari: "Oh, thank you so much Megane-san."

Ryouma: "Don't call me names because I have one...." -he giggled

Mari: "Sorry about that." -I giggled too.

Ryouma: "I'm Orihime Ryouma."

As I about to say my name someone called me.

Louis: "Chii-chan!" -he came rushing to me

Mari: "Louis-san~!" -I left him and hurriedly went to Louis-san

Ryouma: "Y-Your cook----"

Louis: "Its good to see you here, Chii." -he hugged me

Mari: "What is it Louis-san? You looked troubled. Is there anything I can do?" -I worriedly asked

Louis: "Actually I was tasked to buy the groceries but my special client suddenly called me that she really needs me to do something for her and she's waiting at the parlor."

Mari: "Then go ahead Louis-san and I'll be the one to buy the groceries..."

Louis: "Thank you and sorry, Chii! Bye-bye!" -he rushed as he waved his hands

Now, is the time for the announcement of the members of the Student Council and they will be having a speech at the morning assembly. Yuki-chan has the position as the Student Council Vice-President..

Yuki: "Mari-chan!"

Mari: "So are you ready for your speech as the vice-president?"
