The Immortal Ones (BOYXBOY)

"our mortal bodies are inhabited by immortal souls"

Immortal, it's a word often used in our time and place, though, confusion complied right behind it. When someone thinks of an Immortal, I reckon their first thought is that of the undead kings, Vampires. I would be kidding myself if I hadn't had that thought cross my mind the moment I noticed my own changes but everything I had ever come to know of those beasts... wasn't what was happening to me.

When I was a child, my mother used to tell me stories of the Immortal ones. It was called 'ανίκανος να πεθάνει' which translated to unable to die, in Greek. I never understood the severity of this story. Not until recently anyway. I still remember her soft coconut perfume as she wrapped me in her protective arms, whispering to me about how special beings once lived among us, with special abilities, known as the immortals.

As for the characters, as hopefully you scanned through them before heading to this part. I shall be adding more as the story progresses.
