The wolf was in shock when she saw the agility of Spencer’s attacks, using the sword as if it was only an extension of her body. Spencer was surprised too. I knew I was fast, she thought to herself, but I didn’t know I was this fast! With each movement one wolf fell to the ground and yelped in pain. Soon, Lupa was the only wolf standing. “ You have proven yourself worthy,” Lupa said, “ I will let you live.” Spencer fell to the ground in exhaustion and soon passed out.
When Spencer woke up again she no longer saw a wolf, she saw only a woman watching over her. Her hair was as grey as a winter moon and her as white as snow. “ Do I know you?” Spencer said
“Indeed you do,” she said, her voice as smooth as honey “ I am Lupa.” Spencer looked terrified
“ L-Lupa?” Spencer said with a stutter “ but a second ago you were all Grrr…. And now you’re all …woman.” Lupa only laughed. “ I am Lupa, the wolf goddess.” Spencer felt as if she was going to pass out again.
“ G-goddess?” Spencer said. Lupa told Spencer that she was a demigod and that her mother was one of the gods. Spencer was in shock. “My mom? A god? What god is she? Why did she abandon me? What about my dad?”
“ You will find out soon enough, but for now, we must take you some where safe.” Lupa said. Lupa walked ahead and Spencer followed her.
