A dying wish,
Is all it takes,
For a girl like her,
To believe in fate.

He believed in shooting stars,
Yet he didn't feel complete,
The day he wanted to leave,
Was another night to believe.

Her eyes filled with tears,
Making her skip another day,
Nothing but pills and razors,
Still, the pain never went away.

His arms scarred,
All because of harm,
Not wanting to live no more,
As the scars patterned his arm.

She's not listening,
She don't give a damn,
Setting up her desk,
Turning on the recording cam.

He screams quietly,
Deep down inside he's dying,
Pulling out the camera,
Recording as he sat down crying.

They say goodbye,
Smiling as they shattered inside,
Remembering the promise they made,
Finally, speaking as they cried.

The end in the recording was dark,
As they could no longer yearn,
Long gone,
Never to return.

Forever sleeping,
The families weeping.
