The upside to being a writer is you get to play with immaginary friends, in your head even. For as long as you want. Or, at least, until you put them down on paper. Once you start putting them 'on paper', you have to commit to a course of action. Or be prepared to rip it all apart once you deviate from said course. I am not the type to deviate.

Don't tell anyone. They'll either think you're nuts...or be jealous :D 

For the curious, I bet I spent well over a year 'playing' with my Bluebonnet characters. I think this is how the subconscious works out different scenarios and also helps with characterization. I know. It's kinda wierd but it's how I roll.
