I awake in the medical ward and try to stand up only for Gustave to come up to me

Gustave: don't try to move two much

Logan: why

Gustave: well you kinda have shrapnel in your chest which we couldn't remove due to how much blood you have already lost

I sigh and lay back down, as soon as he left I removed the bandages and seen metal in my chest. I pull out alot of them and almost got all of them but one hurt like hell. I grabed the last piece and just ripped it out which made my chest bleed more. I grab the pain killers off the table next to me and down two of them. I stand up luckly I had my combat clothes next to the bed. I change into them and walk out to the cafeteria. When I entered the room mark walked up to me

Mark: you gave a bomber a lap dance

Logan: what he paid in pain

Mark: you know one day your going to die because of the dumb shit you do

Logan: I've stared death in the face, he blinked first

Mark: go get your bloody food and sit with the sas

Logan: how about I get my food and sit with the GROM

Mark: feel free

Logan: I'll catch up later

Mark: yeah

I get my food and sit with the GROM.

Ela: so how you holding up

Logan: ask me later when I care

Ela: no need to be rude

Logan: sorry

Ela: it's ok

Someone put there hands over my eyes

Meghan: guess who

Logan: the boogie man

Meghan: no

Logan: freddy Krueger

Meghan: I'm done with you

She takes a seat next to us and eats her food.

Logan: so how long have I been out

Ela: only a day, also Grace still wants you to Chung the vodka

Logan: fine

I walk over to where the 707th is at and tap Grace on the shoulder.

Grace: how you holding up

Logan: I'm good, where's the vodka

Grace: oh it's in my room

I follow her to her room and she hands me a water bottle full of vodka

Grace: here you go

I grab the bottle and chug it down. God I can't tell if it's good or not.

Logan: I'm never make another deal about not getting hurt

Grace: you know you left a hole in the wall where it threw you back

Logan: well I'm glad my back isn't broken

Grace: we wouldn't want that

Logan: well I'm going off base, I'll talk to you later

The reason I'm going off base is because zofia wants me to come by for something. She also had me bring ela so I walk to the cafeteria. She was sitting there talking to Elias.

Logan: ela, zofia needs us at her house

Ela: why

Logan: she said surprise

Ela: can Elias come

Logan: I don't give a fuck

We all load into my car and head to zofia's. We park up and enter the house. We knock and zofia opens to door.

Zofia: mom's in the living room and wants to see you two

Logan: I'm out

I start to walk away but ela grabbed my shoulder and drag me to the living room

Jan: hey ela

Ela: hey mom

She pointed tword me and mom seemed confused

Jan: oh hello Logan

Logan: hi...

I try to walk away but Elias grabbed my arm

Logan: don't make me kick your ass again

Me kept his hand on my arm and I started to get pissed off

Jan: sorry Logan that I'm not the mom that you want

Logan: yeah your the mom that should leave me alone

I went to leave again but this time I decided to turn around and walk back. Zofia came downstairs with ava.

Ava: uncle Logan

She ran up and hugged my leg.

Logan: hey kid

Jan: so Logan where di you go when you left

Logan: none of your fu... freaking business

There's a kid in the room

Ela: he join the us marine corps and now is working with rainbow

Logan: ok well now you know so may I go back to base

Zofia: just go

Logan: thanks

I leave and head to base . I enter and go to my room. Meghan soon came in and sat down next to me.

Meghan: you ok

Logan: yeah

Meghan: ok

We sit and talk, kiss every once and awhile. We end out with her leaving and me heading to bed
