I stood there flabbergasted

"Hello earth to Kate" she said waving her hand in front of me

"Great you should get ready we will leave at 6 and wear something casual"

"No my stepfather used to beat me and I felt worthless now I am strong and powerful. Being a vampire is better than when I was human"

"Why her heart is beating slow?"I asked extremely worried

"Her heart beat is decreasing and there is a high chance of dying" the doctor said, after that I couldn't hear anything I blocked everything out, she can't die.
