Today was my first day at Hawkins middle school, and boy was I nervous I walked inside to see a lot of kids walking around and running to get to class
I read my paper that had my locker number on it and walked towards it but before I could get to it I bumped into someone I looked up and saw a girl with ginger hair and blue eyes she was gorgeous
" Oh, I'm so sorry, " I said helping her with Her stuff she dropped she smiled at me and thanked me
" Are you new here?" she asked I smiled and nodded
" is it that obvious," I said laughing making her laugh as well she was really pretty I had to know her name
" Well Hi I'm y/n," I said extending my hand out for her to shake she smiled and shook my hand
" I'm max, "she said I nodded that was a beautiful name for a beautiful girl
" well y/n how about I show you around the school," she said I nodded she walked me to my locker and helped me open it
" Hey You're right next to me that's grea we can walk to class together now," she said making me blush
She stopped looking at me and she looks forwards she drops her hand from her locker and shuts her locker midway arching her eyebrow at someone
I looked over to see her looking at some guys and a girl I looked away because it wasn't my business or anything
" Oh sorry it's just I saw my ex-best friends," she said I nodded and smiled
" Oh I get it, I have ex-best friends too they were assholes," I said making her laugh
" well maybe you'll find someone else to call Your best friend," I said she looked at me and nodded
" Maybe I will," she said grabbing my hand and leading me to my first class maybe this friendship will blossom to something more than friendship
