Chapter 1 *Sahia's Princess*

My breath hit the glass in a steady rhythm as if I just drank a steamy cup of milk. I looked through towards the humans. They weren't of any interest to me I just had to observe. My red eyes scanning as they showed their emotions so easily. I scoffed and turned to greet the one that called towards me. 'Their almost as bad as angels.' I thought to myself as I greeted my superior. "Your mission." He said as he handed me a yellow envelope. Its sealing contained a red rose that looked as if it was dripping blood. I accepted it turning my back towards the man knowing he was already gone. I took my sharp blade knife and cut through the red wax. Slipping the paper out and flipping the sides open. The page filled with red ink and a code for the mission at the top.

Demon Roxxi

Mission code: S3K1W42LXC

Your mission is to storm the angel castle of Sahia. You are not to associate with the angels. You are not to show any mercy. That is your mission.

I smirked as I read the paper. 'As if I would associate nor show mercy!' I thought getting up from my comfy chair. I walked towards my door and switched the dial to white. As I opened the door I winced at how bright it was. I jumped down and landed on the clouds my shoes catching on the gassy material. Only we and angels could make these kinds of shoes. Not that those angels needed them... I took my time getting to the castle slaughtering one angel at a time as I paced my way inside. It's funny how these angels look like humans with wings their hair colored all the normal colors their eyes all normal as well. I made my way through the castle checking through each door until I got to one particular. A girl who looked like she was in her teens with long white hair and red eyes looked straight at me. "Are you alright?" She asked not giving notice about the angel blood on my body or the fact I was a demon intruder. She made her way over to me as I backed up to the wall. Not that I was scared of this angel it was just I didn't want to associate. She got a rag and placed it on my face wiping off the blood that cascaded there. I looked at her, confusion not leaving my face. She smiled warmly, and as if that smile could melt my heart I felt close to her. "Your name is?" She asked as she took off my coat and began wiping my neck and trying her best to clean off of my coat. "Roxxi." I said without hesitation. She nodded and gave me my coat indicating she was done. "My name is Haruka." She spoke in a soft voice and looked at me with even softer eyes. "Would you be my friend?" That sentence brought me to reality. I still couldn't bring myself to say no. "Okay." I felt like it was automatic. "Great! You see I don't have many friends. I've been locked up here most of my life, just silently watching as others enjoyed their freedom." "Shall I take you with me?" I asked. She looked at me hope most present in her eyes. "Oh could I please?" I nodded and she immediately hugged me. "Thank you!" She yelled. " But.." I continued "I kill others, you're going to have to get used to that." She looked sorrowful but nodded. I held out my hand and she quickly gave me hers. We ventured to the top of the castle were my target lay. She silently watched as the king of her people died as well as the queen. I looked to her to see tears welling in her eyes. I reached out my hand and wiped them away apologizing so many times I lost count. Then the guards came in, they were dressed in silver armor. They surrounded us pointing their swords directly at me. "Let go of the princess!" One demanded. My eyes widened as I looked slowly over to Haruka who's face had become useable a while ago. "Then that means..." I looked back at the corpses of the king and queen. " Those were...your parents?" She nodded slightly. I pulled her head up looking in her eyes with anger. "Why did you let me slaughter them?!? You just watched!!!" She started crying again. "I'm sorry but you said I'd have to get used to it.... Also you treated me better in fifteen minutes then they had my whole life!" She wept into my chest. I sighed and pet her head. The guards came closer ready to kill me. "STOP!!!" She ran in front of me. Putting her arms out and guarding me safely. "If you kill her you must go through me!" I sighed again. 'I can take care of them.' I thought and laughed a little. She was like a little dog running in front of her master to protect him from a trashcan. I got up silently and she looked behind at me. "Run for it!" She yelled. I laughed again. "It's okay." I patted her head. "Good doggy." I said as I walked to the guards and began to kill each and every one of them. Behind me I heard a confused. "Doggy?" After cleaning up I took her hand and we ran. I had to run like the wind to get away from all the guards. There was no end to them. Finally we got to the entrance where I had come in; I called forth Bakua my familiar to take us up. His black fur, perked ears, and long tail appeared. He howled as he usually did to communicate. Only I could understand him as his master. "You called?????" He asked in his usual annoying voice. I pointed up towards the opening explaining. "Aww and here I am thinking you called to ask me for advice in lo..." He didn't get to finish his sentence do to my fist down his throat. Me and Haruka both got on his back then he took us to the door that I took here. When we finally got back Bakua disappeared with a wink and a flick of his tail. Entering the living room I saw a figure on my couch. I immediately rushed to unsheathe my sword and brought it the stranger's neck. Then I realized it was Kurosu, my brother. He stood not really giving notice to the sword held not even five inches away from his neck. I stared as he walked over to Haruka and picked her up and examining her. "Who is she?" He asked just barely glancing at me before returning to examining. "No one." I said and sat down turning on my T.V. (Because demons watch T.V. now) Behind me Haruka was giggling, "Hahaha That tickles." I sighed as my brother finally set her down and sat next to me, Haruka on the other side. "No, If she was nobody she wouldn't be ticklish." Haruka went to sit in front of the T.V. getting fascinated by every scene. "Fine but if I tell you can't freak and you have to keep it a secret." He nodded slightly as if understanding this was big. "She's an angel that I took from Sahia." I heard him gasp then I felt him shaking me as if I were in a deep sleep. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!? DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MOTHER?!!?" I grabbed his wrist to make him stop and held up a finger to his face. "Shhhhh" I looked over to Haruka who thankfully was still looking at the T.V. in awe. "I told you not to freak. I realize this is crazy but she doesn't exactly have a home anymore and I told she could be my friend. She doesn't have anywhere to go and I won't abandon her. She....I don't know why but.....I feel like I must protect her." I watched his eyes trail over to Haruka. He got up and walked over to her, I almost got up when he picked her up and came back to sit down placing her in his lap. "Fine then now she's my angel and also my servant." He said smirking. She looked back at him confused. "Why do you like picking me up? What's a servant?" I got up and took her hand pulling her of Kurosu's lap. "She's staying here and she will not be your servant." He smiled taking hold of her other hand. "Oh yes she is and if she's staying here I wish to stay too." He kissed her hand making her look at me in confusion looking for an answer. He pulled her closer making me let go of her hand. "Would you be my servant Haruka? It'd make me happy!" She looked surprised, "It would?!? Then of course if it makes you happy." I sighed knowing she didn't know what he meant. "Why do you want Haruka to be your servant?" I asked holding my head trying to stop my growing headache. He smiled as If he thought the answer was obvious. "I'm afraid I have an angel complex."
