- Emalynne's POV - 

- THE FOREST OF MOONLIGHT, Thursday, 9:40 PM - 

I look at Kurano, scared for my own life.

We made contact...

Kurano looks at his hand calmly, as it starts to fade away.

I look at him with sorrow.

"K-Kurano, y-you're fading." A lump forms in my throat.

He faintly smiles as his hand disappears into silver dust.

"Come here, Emalynne." His words start to make me glassy eyed.

I approach him slowly as his whole hand fades into dust.

He hugs me tightly.

"Farewell, Ema." His words start to make me shiver.

What have I done?

His whole body fades away.

Tears start to fall from my eyes.

"I love you." Those were his last words.

He becomes glowing dust, leaving the locket, his clothing, and the crystal behind.

I fall down, as his particles disperse around.

"I-I love you too." I tear up.

I was weak.

I couldn't open up to him.

And what happened broke me.

Deep in my heart, I felt shattered.

Not by his words, but by himself.

Because of my carelessness, he's gone.

He's never coming back.

I grip on his clothing, and the locket tightly.

I begin to sob loudly.

Why didn't you just make me fall?

I was a fool.

I'm such a mess.

Kurano, you're always in my heart.

I already miss you.

Memories flood into my head.

The music box...

Our past...

The locket...

Everything...

I can feel my heart...

Being torn into pieces.
