"We were fused, for so long." After getting along with Green Diamond and Lapis and Pearl were happy, after a few years, Lapis had to fuse with evil Dark Diamond to defend Pearl and everyone. She dragged both of them down in the sea. And been there for so long. Lapis finally got out of the water, terrified. Pearl found her, dreading that she would find Dark Diamond coming for her.
Lapis Lazuli came back after so long. She sat on the beach, barefooted, she sang something:

I thought I'd stay a while
I tried to learn to smile
So many colors I had never even known
Maybe I find myself sitting on that distant shore
Maybe I'm not alone
Then I see the colors fading, gentleness of light escaping

A terror deep inside me
I coudn't understand how you could be so bold

Lapis Lazuli smiled, it's been so long since she heard her calming, singing voice. Lapis Lazuli spread her wings our and flapped them. She saw the ocean, sparkling more beautifully than when she was on land. She finally was home. Pearl cried happiness when Lapis came down. Pearl ran to her and hugged her to the ground, "You're home!" Lapis smiled, "Yes, my REAL home." Pearl smiled greatly and got up and confessed, "I LOVE YOU!" Pearl kissed Lapis. Lapis kissed back. They laugh as they tackle each other to the ground. Pearl was very happy to have Lapis back home now. Both of them, singing:
