Garrett Doesn't Know Best

Jasmine POV

I slept over Lindy's house because I was too tired to walk back to my house. Garrett and Delia slept over as well.

We usually don't get to have crew sleepovers often. They're pretty fun if you ask me.

Today was the day I was going to talk it out with Rebecca.

Logan still had her number which he gave to me.

I texted her saying I wanted to talk to her. We're meeting at the park soon. Lindy agreed to come with me.

I was sitting at a bench in the park.

I decided to wear a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt. I put my hair in a high ponytail.

Rebecca was walking my way.

My palms started sweating and my heart started beating faster. Lindy stayed in the car.

"Hi Rebecca" I say

"What do you want?" she says

"I was wondering why you wrote that note"

"Logan is mine. I saw him first"

"Actually Logan and I have known each other since the 3rd grade. We've been best friends ever since"

"Talking back huh?"

Before I could respond, I felt a huge pain on my cheek. Rebecca punched me and I fell to the ground.

"If you tell anyone about this I'll do worst then that" she smirked then walked away

I tried standing up. My hand was over my cheek. My cheek hurts a lot. I feel a tear down my cheek. It burns a lot.

I walk over to the car and Lindy's on her phone.

She was sitting in the driver's seat.

I knocked on her window and she looks up from her phone.

She gasped then got out of the car.

"What happened!" she asked

"Uh...I bumped into a tree."

"Are you ok" she said

"I hope so" I say

I sat in the front passenger seat next to Lindy.

My heads leaning against the window while Lindy's driving.

We arrive at Lindy's house but we take the door that leads to the basement.

We walked in and everyone's eyes were on me

"What happened" Logan said

"Is it that bad?" I ask

"Uh YEA!" he said

"Oh" I said looking away

"Please tell me what happened!" he said

"I ran into a tree" I said

"Are you sure it wasn't because of Rebecca" he said

"I'm positive" I say

I feel a tear coming down but I try to hold it in.

I go upstairs and enter the bathroom.

I look at my cheek. Wow it's bad.

I should probably put ice on it. I walk out of the bathroom and enter the kitchen. Garrett was there getting a snack.

"I know it was Rebecca" he said

"How do you know?" I say

"Jas I'm not stupid"

"THEN WHY DID TELL ME TO TALK IT OUT!" I yell.

I feel a tear down my cheek

"I DIDN'T THINK SHE'D PUNCH YOU!" he shot back

I stormed out of the kitchen and ran into the basement

Logan was the only one there.

I ran into his arms and I held him tight.

"Please tell me what happened Jas" he said hugging back

"I wish I could" I say, still holding on to him
