Hi, I wrote this poem for an assignment a few years ago. Basially, one had to mimic "that time' by regina spektor.

That Time

Hey, remember the time you cut my hair and hid it in your toy dump truck?

Hey, remember the time you locked me out of the house in the snow?

Hey, remember that time you drove me home from Coogan’s at 2 AM?

We only spoke a wordless understanding.

Hey, remember that time I only drank Tim Horton’s?

Hey, remember that time I walked barefoot everywhere just for kicks?

Hey, remember that time I dropped your Iphone on concrete?

You didn’t yell at me, but laughed and said it was time for a new one.

Hey, remember that time we watched Twilight to mock the acting?

Hey, remember that time we had a water pistol fight in the kitchen?

Hey, remember the time we played ball on the street until we skinned our knees?

You knocked the balls out of the yard into the forgotten field.

Hey, remember that time I saw you smoking Marlboros on the porch?

Hey, remember that time you hung military posters all over your walls?

Hey, remember that time you sprayed graffiti on The Flag?

You said you were an anarchist with a devotion to the corrupted army: I said you were a contradiction and stupid.

Hey, remember that time you joined the Air Corps program at Baldonnel?

Hey, remember that time you tattooed your arm army style?

Hey, remember that time you left to train?

Hey, remember that time you didn’t come back?

I cried, cried, cried
