I may look like the most unserious person in this campus but you of all people should know i don't joke with my studies, so better hurry up, she replied

Marie and i have been friends since the first day we set eye on each other during my clearance  registration at the college.

As i walked around  the campus like a lost sheep who has no bearing, I kept on moving from one place to the other looking for where to complete my clearance registration.

Omg! This is such a big school, If care is not taking one might get lost, and I have a weakness, I'm not good with directions.

As I continue moving from pillar to poll not having any idea of where to turn to, I waited a bit to take a breathe.

I guess I need to find someone who will guide me, I said to myself.

Then I turned around, with this song in my head "I need an angel, send me an angel God" I don't even remember the full song talk more of knowing who sang it.

Have been sun drying myself, walking about in this scourging sun for the past 2hours, as I turned behind me, I saw her coming, I wonder why this place was secluded despite the fact its a campus, should students not suppose to be moving up and down in the campus?

I gave myself a slap, why should they be moving about when their major business is to come here to study,

They're probably  receiving lectures at this time, I check my wristwatch which indicated past 11am.

Where is the girl i saw coming the other time? 

I looked around searching,

I hoped she hasn't turn into a corner while I was busy thinking and talking nonsense to myself.

Oh! There she is, I saw her coming out of a store,

let me not wait for her to get here rather let me go and meet her, I am the one in need of her help

I walked towards her, as I got closer,

she raised her head and look towards me

walking close to her... please excuse, i called out to her,
yes, how may I help you? She replied,

I'm new here, can you please show me where to pay my clearance fee?  pleaded with her.

She shrugged  a little, you go straight down this road pointing to a direction then you turn to your left,  pointing to another direction,  at the first turning  you walk down and turn to your right again,  then you move to.... she paused and look at me squarely  as i  seems lost with the whole direction jagans.

She turned to me, are you even getting what I'm saying at all?

I guess I'm following, i lied, truly i don't  understand a shit in what she has said

I don't think you are, follow me, she said

to where? I asked

ain't you going for your clearance?

Oh! yes! Do you want to take me ?. sounding excited,

she nodded

ain't you going for lectures?.. I asked

should i go back? She replies

No no no no,  I almost screamed,  just worried that you might missed your lecture because of me

I don't want to be the reason you miss your class.

A simple "thank you" will do,  

So sorry please pardon my manners,

I'm just so excited about you taking me

I'm sure i would have missed my way if i have to go myself, I'm the worse at anything related to geography...

we talked as we continue to the direction earlier described by her

She smiled,  here we are pointing to a line of offices,

go in there, the officials will check your papers, hope you have everything as stated in the online info? she asked

yes!  I have everything here in my folder, I responded

Good! You will go to that office first, you will be directed to the next office when they're satisfied with your documents,

i moved towards the office then I stopped,  turned  around  facing her ...

will you be here when I'm done?   giving her a puppy eye..

She looked at me, as if she was contemplating on whether she want to stay or leave...

She smiles and nodded, go in I will be right here waiting

i smiled widely like a nuisance, 

wow!  guess i just found my best friend on campus. I said and she laughed, as I rushed towards the office.
