"aren't you overreacting a bit?" alex asked and you shot him a glare. he stared you dead on and eventually your look softened and you sighed.

"maybe i am... i just want to stop this before it may evolve into something bigger, y'know?"

alex looked at you, confused, so you continued. "it's obvious this person can't take no for an answer, or leave me alone. i just want it to stop before they meet me head on and maybe do something that i won't be able to stop."

"oh," he said, nodding his head a bit. "it's a bit more understandable now, but just don't be overdramatic, okay?"

he slung an arm over your shoulder as you two walked down the hall to the cafeteria.

"besides," he said, flashing a smile at you, "you're my best friend. i'll beat this creeps ass!"

you laughed as you two continued to walk down the hallway.
