Chapter 13

        The next morning Eric made sure to move in as soon as possible into my room my wolf was thrilled, but I on the other hand wasn't. Yes I know, I do really want him as a mate but does he really need to be in my house and, more specifically, my room? Permenantly? I think once he gets his feelings about me sorted out and I try not to be so confusing maybe we could make this work, but until then it's most likely going to be a roller coaster ride of emotions. I've thought about Eric a lot lately and I do think it's kind of ridiculous at how easily I let myself fall for him even after he so blantly stated he didn't want me. My wolf agrees with me but she doesn't regret it and neither do I; honestly we just want to make it harder for him to show Eric we aren't weak and that we are independent. He has no problem with making it difficult so until he figures out his feelings I'm going to do my own thing. emotionally I'll be waiting for him but physically he won't know a damn thing unless he earns it. He had no right to ttreat me the way he did and i naively let myself fall at his feet and it was so pathetic that it was almost embarassing but then again I couldn't help it he's my mate.

        Currently I'm at the store, alone, getting more groceries for the new addition to the house. Eric's a male and a werewolf so you can only imange how much he'll eat in a day. I shuddered at the thought. 'He's gonna make me go bankrupt within the month!' Poor guy is gonna have to pay for his own food because money doesn't grow on trees and he basically invited himself into my home. I pay for the groceries and head out towards my ice blue jeep wrangler.

        I finally made it home after a short but agonizingly long drive and as I stepped up to my front door to pull out my keys the aura shifted. Something felt wrong. I stiffined and leaned towards the door to listen to what's going on inside. I heard Erics voice and another voice I've never heard speaking in hushed voices which made my curiousity spike because techniqually they were the only ones in the house so why were they talking as if trying to hide something from someone? Erics voice sounded stern and demanding while the other one soundedcalm with a hint of frightened. Something about Erics tone of voice put me on edge. The only reason a male wolf would use a tone with that much power threatening to seep over was that of an Alpha male.

'But Eric is only a beta' I thought.

        I sighed and raked my fingers through my hair and then pushed open my front door. Eric was standing in the walkway towards the front door and was pacing with his phone at his ear but immediately stopped and snapped his head in my direction when he heard me enter the house.

" I'll call you later." He said and snapped his phone shut.

        He tried to hide the anger and frustration on his face with a smile that didn't quite meet his stone cold eyes.

'Something is definitely up' my wolf said. 

'Only one way to find out' I replied.

        Woohoo! Got out an update for you guys! I'm so stressed out with school since it's only been a month since my junior year started and on top of that I now have a job, so I'm still in the process of balancing everything out because sadly I do have some priority struggles. I'm working on trying not to make the characters too confusing but at the same time I want them to have depth which is a little hard to do when I tend to forget some of my characters names (yes, I know it's such a shame). I have so many story ideas in my head that i sometimes just want to put all of them in one story but I know I can't so I have to come up with many story lines and names for each of them.
