So it begins

(Hey guys. Before we start, I wanna make a few things clear. By the time of this chapter the Akatsuki is already well established, Orochimaru has left and was replaced with Adam who is still alive in this version and the Six Paths of Pain still exist in this even though Y/N wasn't injured like Nagato was. Also this'll take place at the end of RWBY and the start of Naruto Shippuden)

Y/N'S POV

Konan and I were meeting with the rest of the Akatsuki, trying to determine our next move

Hidan: Listen, I don't give a damn what we do next as long as I still get to kill

Kakazu: Shut up Hidan

Adam: One things for sure, we should stay away from beacon for now. Beacon has multiple different Jinchuuriki. It would be smart to capture the Jinchuuriki outside of that area

Sasori: So that narrows it down to the eight tails, nine tails and one tail

Y/N: The one tail will most likely be the weakest of those three. Sasori, Diedara, You two will go to the Hidden Sand and retrieve the one tail. However since our target is the Kazekage, this may prove difficult

Sasuke: Why not send me as well? I know Gaara well

Kisame: He's right. When we were in the village looking for Sasuke so he could replace Itachi, we heard from some of the locals about his fight with him

Y/N: You both make a good point. Sasuke, you'll meet with them outside of the village

Sasori: I already have a spy inside. He'll make sure nobody gets suspicious while we wait

Y/N: Good. We will wait for you three to return

TIMESKIP TO OUTSIDE THE SAND VILLAGE; SASUKE'S POV

(This story will mostly take place in the pov of other people since if Y/N was everywhere in this version it would be a pretty boring story)

I met up with Sasori and Diedara outside the Hidden Sand village as Pain ordered

Diedara: Finally here, eh Sasuke?

Sasuke: Shut up. We have a mission

Sasori: He's right. My spy's already cleared a path so let's get the Kazekage and go

Diedara: Ok, fucking sticks in the mud

Diedara into the village on one of those clay birds of his and Sasori and I just waited for if (or when) Diedara would fuck up and get into a fight. Sure enough, we start hearing explosions

Sasori: Sasuke, go help Diedara

Sasuke: I'm on it

I run up the nearest building to get a view of what's happening. I could tell by the giant sand shield that Gaara decided to face Diedara directly. I leaped up into the air and charged a chidori and penetrated Gaara's shield, stabbing him in the side. This resulted in him pushing me away and looking at me

Gaara: So it's true, Sauke? You decided to join the Akatsuki

Sasuke: Had Beacon and the Leaf not constantly treated the Uchiha like common criminals, I would not be here today

Gaara: I understand what you're saying but to think you'd go as far as to take you're brother's place is impossible

Sasuke: Enough talk, Gaara. It's time to end this

I shot a fireball jutsu from my mouth as Diedara attacked him with his explosive clay but that damn shield returned to protect him. I looked down and saw the citizens of the sand village watching. Without hesitation I tried to burn them all to ash which as expected was blocked by Gaara's sand
