Fight through

27 1 1

The night chanted her name
And engulfed her in a darkened hue
Whispering of promises
That would never make do

"Let go"
Midnight had sneered
Flooding in with self hate
darkness is what She feared

As their cold hands wrap around her body
Slurred promises of a new life
However the only thing she had to do
Was bring out the bloody knife

But the morning spoke differently
Alongside the birds sing song
Sunlight promised with truth
Of a life worth living long

"The night lies to you child"
The sun rays proclaimed
"Every life is precious
And yours will remain,
Don't listen to this darkness
Don't let their lies fool you
Everything will get better
If you just fight through"
